Firstly, you get charged at LEAST 19,000 dollars for the worst room. Rooms that have a desk, a small, uncomfortable bed, paper thin walls, an uncomfortable chair, and a wardrobe (I didn't have any drawers.) As previously mentioned, the walls are made of paper. I could hear every tap, knock, and conversation from either side of me. Luckily my neighbors weren't having sex constantly, though one of them loved to practice guitar at midnight. The other residents suck, every bit of damage comes out of your bond, no matter how much of a good resident you are. There's no way to prove your innocence. I have had at LEAST $100 dollars taken from me for things I DIDN'T BREAK OR STEAL, all because of the Resident handbooks rules, so read those carefully. Along with the small rooms, you also get a shared common room area that MIGHT have a toaster and a microwave. All of them have one fridge for 22 residents on each floor, which never gets cleaned. There was an off bottle of milk in our fridge for 6 MONTHS. Most of the esidents here are immature and inconsiderate. The staff don't care, the events suck, the "prom" sucked, and the food is normally less than average. Even the catering staff call the food slop. If you enjoy taking accountability for other people, easdropping on your neighbors (like it or not), bad food, and bad attitudes, Im sure you'd love it here!

This hall is a home away from home. Itβs like a family away from family. Dear Uni Hall I love you.

Not bad but we don't have freezers and there's no microwave on my floor, aside from that it's fine.

the hospitality is great and they do a good job at making sure everything runs smoothly and is organised well. could have more time and bigger servings for each meal though.

When I was there the Hall was under good management(now uni lodge owns it) but if these recent reviews are true you guys should be ashamed and actually do something rather than just say it's being taken seriously

Multiple girls have been groped by the security. Management won't do anything.

A bad manager! Bad attitude, remember customer is more important than managers, if no customers, u means nothing. Manager Rachel is bad, talk as a boss! And they cleaner take good with out asking! So bad, and they don't same email when I was complete my apply, and find excuse for them, none tells me to pay money, and give me bill at day of mid in the year, also I don't know what the $300 and $400 cost for, I suggest student record what they tell u before, and play to em when they sat anonther thing. Fk ward. They do have good managers, but one bad is enough.

Terrible facilities for the price we're paying. Living conditions are unacceptable, leaky rooms, showers don't work in the morning and regularly weeks pass with no soap in the toilets. Don't be fooled by their false advertising on open days; very deceptive and misleading, really not an accurate representation of living at Unihall. However, kitchen staff and RA's are very friendly and the food is generally good (although variety in food does not really cater very well for different dietary types; vegetarians and vegans).

This hall sucks beyond words! For example: You have to wait over half an hour in line to get a meal which is far from satisfying. We were locked out of the common room 70% of the time. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting when we arrived. The rooms are cold, as the heaters don't work and they are unbelievably selfish and money hungry - I left the hall halfway through a semester due to personal reasons and they refused to refund any of my $3000 I paid in advance for the next half a semester! It was an absolute outrage and I would strongly advise for anyone considering to stay away from this hall! Shayne (the guy in charge) didn't even try to compromise, he just blatantly refused to give me a refund (even a partial refund) and demonstrated very poor communication skills over the whole situation. On the plus side, the RA's are really cool and friendly, as are the new people you meet who are simply amazing. I was sad to leave them! But in terms of being a hall - thanks a lot for nothing and stealing my money :).
