   Had pretty good service today from some really friendly and helpful staff. Everyone said hello and acknowledged me, asked if I needed help, young gentleman at the counter showed me how to pack the jacket I purchased away in it’s snug little bag. Have always had good experiences with macpac with their service and products.

   Fairly average service when I visited the store the other day. I wanted to try on a jacket I've been eyeing for quite some time, but I only remembered that its name started with 'g.' Unfortunately, the person at the front counter couldn't assist me. Eventually, I managed to find the jacket myself (it was called Grafton, in case you're curious). I noticed that due to the high theft rate at places like Macpac, all the jackets were locked to the railing. The same person who saw me trying on the jacket just walked past without offering any help. I understand that retail workers can have a tough time, but this particular individual really let down my favorite New Zealand clothing brand.

   I was in the line to pay, but I was completely ignored by a woman named Sam. Someone who wasn't in the line jumped ahead of me when it was my turn, and Sam didn't seem to care. She served that person before me. Furthermore, there were other people behind me who were being served by a different lady, while I continued to wait in front of Sam. Eventually, the other lady came to my assistance. Great service. Never coming back to this store again.

   Exceptional customer service from Rhonda at Riccarton Macpac on my recent visits. I’m a first time Grandma and was struggling with sizes. She was very helpful, offering to get products in from another branch for me. When they arrived she made sure it was what I expected and also made sure I got all my benefits. It was a pleasure shopping there. I would definitely recommend this branch.
