I went into the appointment very anxious mainly about the pain. Asides from the tiny prick from the anaesthetic it was a pain free experience. Recovery was also much less painful than I was expecting. The process was incredibly easy and it was a very quick procedure.
Thought I'd share a review as it seems no one else has for ages. I had Gerard Mcquinlan as my Dr yesterday. He was very professional and helped to calm me down as I was clearly nervous. He wasn't rushed or anything, and yet as others have said the op itself probably took about 6 minutes. I was most nervous for the injections obviously, but genuinely this was nothing to worry about. Slight prick for like 3 seconds and then done. Covid jabs were definitely worse as far as pain goes if you want a comparison.
Had the snip yesterday got a ring in doctor anesthetic didn't really work and felt a bit of the Lazer was pretty painful had 3-4 more anesthetic injections but still felt it at certain points felt like my nuts were getting electric shocks and not sure why left feeling a bit dazed and confused and wouldn't recommend an experience like that on anyone
After being told I couldn't get the snip a few years ago as I've had a previous operation. I was told get hold of snip vasectomy and see if they can do it. After talking to the nurse on the phone consultation, she believed I'd be fine. Showed up for my procedure and was in and out in 15min all done and dusted. Didn't feel a thing. Super happy and can't recommend this clinic enough.
Have to say, I booked based on good reviews. The most recent being the most accurate in my experience. Had the procedure today, I was on the table all of 5-6 minutes. The doctor was straightforward, great communication,kept me engaged with light conversation and it was all over like..really...that was it. Honestly easy...and walked out feeling absolutely fine. The pre consultation was good. The administration was great with booking and offering me alternate appointments. Top notch helpful service all the way. Despite what you might think, Has to be the least invasive procedure I've had done. Thanks Team.
To be honest the worst part was googling it beforehand and looking at diagrams of the procedure. I won't say it was exactly enjoyable but it's over remarkably quickly (about 5-6 minutes or so). I found the recovery alot quicker than I anticipated. Basically it's not that bad!
Was a bit nervous heading into procedure, but once I was there, it all was over very quickly with minimal discomfort during procedure. Very professional bedside manner, and kept tha conversation going throughout which made it a lot easier to keep my mind off the task at hand. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.
