   Pros: eventually got me treatment which works fantastic. Cons: unnecessary 5 year delay in treatment as they consistently and persistently misinterpreted my story to fit their narrative where they can justify their refusal of treatment and appear ‘competent’. It’s tragic enough for a person living in relentless severe pain but even more tragic for 5 children whom I couldn’t even take to a playground for 5 years - let alone camping, sports etc. After recruiting a legal expert who witnessed the meetings and the misinterpretation the clinic refused to review their report. It’s no thanks to the clinic that I during the sleepless nights of agony I completed a masters degree and progressed in my career under severe and unnecessary physical and emotional stress they caused. Now I only attend recording the meetings and saved up for health insurance. I’ll never again make myself dependent on these people.

2. The Self ★☆☆☆☆

   This is a "Centre" designed to help the overflow of patients through general practice. Our health care system has pathetic personal attention and so instead of trying to understand and work with individuals in chronic pain they just lump you into a place like this and tell you that its your fault you can't cope because you don't know how to handle stress. Once you can handle the stress your chronic pain issues will just disappear and your suffering will be alleviated. The degree of that ignorance is staggering. I honestly wonder if the people who run "Burwood Hospital, Pain Management Center" have ever even experienced pain that lasts longer than a month, or if they just go around telling people how to get it right and live without medication having NEVER been in shoes like the people they are miserably failing to assist.

   ABSOLUTELY USELESS. GIVING ONE STAR SO I CAN REVIEW. THEY ARE WORTH NO STARS WILL NOT HELP A WOMAN WITH TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA. ~THE MOST PAINFUL CONDITION KNOWN TO MANKIND EVEN WHEN DOCTOR SENT A REFERRAL TO THEM TO HELP, THEY REFUSE
