The team at Ocula-Merivale have been great, Tyler and the team provide service in a way that make you feel welcome. Also a special mention, Clare has been great, definitely the right person to have looking after my needs.
I popped into Ocula in Mervale yesterday to have my nose pads replaced. I handed my specs to Andy who took them out back and returned a few minutes later with fresh new pads fitted. I asked him how much I owed and was told ‘no charge’. Not only that, and later in the day, I discovered he’d also tightened the temple screws. Nice one, mate. Impressed and grateful. Cheers. Wayne
A few months ago, I needed to replace my lensed sun glasses after losing the previous pair, so popped into Ocula in Merivale for the first time to have a look at the range of comparison frames. Two things impressed me, the frames are displayed by individual designers which I had never seen before or heard of before. And secondly by the knowledgable staff especially Andy. Thank you once again.
Have returned now for my third pair of prescription glasses after another comprehensive eye exam. Lots of beautiful frames to select from. The team were lovely, made me feel welcome and at ease. Even suggested a great coffee spot for afterwards!
Great opticians. Felt they were thorough, took their time, communicated well and were really helpful and most importantly honest when trying to select out some frames. Olivia (liv) was my optometrist and Amanda helped me with some frame and sunglasses choices. Thanks team.
My first ever eye examination and need for prescription glasses. Fantastic store, I received so much help in finding the perfect pair of frames to suit my face, and Roberta was incredible at explaining each aspect of the examination/test and discussing my concerns. Highly recommend.
I took my wee girl in who has various health issues going on, one being her extreme anxiety in new environments and around new people. The staff we're so lovely and respectful when dealing with her, she very quickly began to feel comfortable. I was so impressed with all the staff. Their kindness and understanding is unmatched and I was beyond impressed. Her new glasses arrived very quickly and after the staff made sure they were fitting perfectly. She walked out of the shop saying "Mummy I can see so much better" ❤️ Needless to say I highly recommend Ocula Merivale
I had a great experience with Ocula (Merivale). A very thorough eye exam (the equipment used was very impressive), and a great amount of care in setting up a new prescription for me. Choosing the new frames was equally as enjoyable. I asked for help finding something to suit my face, and every pair presented was a great match. If it was left up to me by myself, I wouldn't have come away with such a good choice. Really looking forward to the new glasses arriving. Thank you to the Ocula staff - excellent customer service.
