   We had always found Dr Bedggood to be helpful, unfortunately two situations have made me make this review today, the 1st family member was under his care for years being called back repeatedly for a misdiagnosed condition, now under other care been told this should have been treated straight away to stop blindness, today after being ref for a different family member Dr Bedggood was rude and very uncaring in front of a child, talked over us, and just didn't care, Dr Bedggood helps children overseas then treats a NZ child like this, it's with sadness that Dr Bedggood has become this way. IN REPLY, we have found a resolution. The 1st family member has regained sight but has been a longer and painful than needed process because of the mistakes and delays from Family eye have been told could have gone blind. The other family member has a been told a different issue than Family eye said, yes we are working towards a resolution on this with the eye, nothing more. The way we were treated was not respectful and has caused nightmares for this family member. Raised voice is never good but with a child, is not good. Thank you for your reply, unfortunately. You did not follow through with your comments at all.

   I underwent diabetic Retinopathy scan with them. Must say they were very welcoming, starting from appointment booking, explaining the procedure and were very professional and accommodating. The atmosphere of the clinic was cheerful and they made sure that no stress or anxiety is felt by patients. Cheers to Emma and team.

   My friends and I have had similar experiences. Anthony, Marie, and Emma have been extremely helpful and friendly, but the new receptionist is unbelievably rude and infuriating every time. I rarely leave negative reviews, but repeatedly encountering such impatience and bad attitude compelled me to write this. To my surprise, several other people shared their experience in the comments below, they feel the same as I did, so it’s clearly not just my impression. Please do something about this; don’t let one terrible receptionist ruin the reputation you’ve worked so hard to build！

   We have been going to Family eye centre for about 2 years for myopia control for my 2 children and we could not recommend this place high enough. Emma at the reception is always so friendly and Catherine and Marie are very knowledgeable and helpful. Great selection of frames to fit small faces and excellent choices of contact lenses too. Thank you so much for all you do.

   My friend and I were having a hard time filling out the papers to get funding for her baby girl's glasses. Emma was so helpful in explaining the Enable funding and assisting with completing the forms. Could not have done it without her help. A1 service! Thanks Emma, such a stress free process!

   Reception lady is very bad at customer service. She doesn't care what you ask, she doesn't want to know your personal circumstances. She is lacking of basic interpersonal skills.
