   My Fathers estate -Terrible experience, they never respond to emails, paid out my share of the inheritance incorrectly, then asked for funds back, I live overseas so i asked for the amount sent and breakdown of costs which i never received, they could not show me the transaction amount they sent as i was trying to work out what i would need to send back less the conversion rate and fees, they ended up waiving the over payment as it was too hard to show evidence what was sent, my father would be turning in his grave if he knew what we were dealing with, I would give no trust in this company with any of my money, there communication skills are -5.

   What an awful experience. My lawyer sold his law company to DC, and as he was trustee of my family trust and hadn't let me know about this I ended up having to do business with DC at their corporate rates while I tried to get a new trustee put into place. This involved selling the trust property to purchase another They tried telling me conveyancing should have cost me over $5,500 on my purchase (with NO mortgage involved), and just under that for the sale of my home, along with bills for thousands of dollars that they charged me along the way. An absolute disgrace, I had managed to get a quote from the lawyer which was acceptable, but of course they then charged the top end of that with extras. I ended up making a complaint and we did reach an acceptable amount, but I am STILL waiting on the revised bill. Unfortunately no other lawyer would take the case on due to the fact my old lawyer was not responding - the DC lawyer was in touch with him so could at least resolve things there. I urge anyone with a family trust and an ageing trustee to sort things out before they retire and sale off into the sunset with another law companies payment for their business. Found out they also pay commission to my old lawyer for every $$$ they take from me. Oh, and $25 is chartged for EVERY email - they don't tell you that until you query a bill. Zero transparency. So deceitful.
