On the plate at Angkor Restaurant, the idea is simple, bistro‑style and well judged. Portions are generous yet well judged. The room sits relaxed with an easy buzz. Service stays present without fuss. A sensible spend for the spread.
The food was very good but the two young waitress should focus more on their customers and not on their phones. We weren't shown to our table and no one came over to check on our group, also I had to wait to pay at the counter while she was on her phone. Customer service training would be an advantage.
We were very lucky to secure the last 2 seater table for dinner (lesson learnt, make a booking!). We enjoyed the plum pork and also ordered rice. Lovely front of house team, very accommodating. Took our order quickly, and our food arrived very promptly. We can see why this beautiful restaurant is so popular.
Will order ginger fish again, full of spring onions and ginger smell. Other people ordered grilled chicken and was alright. Meals don’t come with rice, have to order separately.
We were new visitors to Palmy and some experienced locals took us to this little gem for fresh healthy delicious food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere, so good that we came back two nights later and we were not disappointed - awesome. Highly recommended

Shared a lovely evening meal here with my wife, prices were very affordable and atmosphere was warm and inviting. Food was tasty and generous. Staff were friendly and accommodating
We normally go with a big group of people for dinner and have the banquet it’s always fresh with plenty left over. The staff are lovely worth a visit for sure and you can BYO wine.
We ordered takeaway, had to wait 40 minutes, came back after 50 mins, then told another 30 minutes wait. No apology, food was average. cost us lots in petrol as had to take elderly person home in the mean time. not impressed.
Was looking forward to my meal tonight as they have the best wonton's and fried rice they I have ever had. What a disappointment, won tons tasted of old cooking oil and had a nasty aftertaste, chicken fried rice (my favourite)was more like a rice risotto. Was clumpy and soggy, hardly any chicken and veges appeared to be only spring onions. Once again an over powering after taste. Waiter's looked like they did not want to be there and had to keep chasing them up. This experience has made me not want to return to what I considered the best restaurant in PN.
