   A great salon with super friendly hairdresser (Priyanka did my hair). I got an appointment very quickly and hassle-free. I also had a great experience at the appointment itself. Haircut with wash and style for only 90 dollars: a great deal. If I ever come back to Christchurch, I would choose this salon again.

   I had such a great experience with my recent haircut! Sanjeev really listened to what I wanted and gave me helpful suggestions on what would suit my face shape and hair type. The cut turned out even better than I expected—fresh, clean, and easy to manage. I also appreciated his attention to detail; every layer was blended perfectly, and the finish looked polished but natural. The salon itself was welcoming, clean, and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. I’ve gotten so many compliments already, and I’ll definitely be coming back for my next cut. Highly recommend Sanjeev!

   Regarding the other review, it looks like this place got good and bad employees. Unfortunately mine was a not a great one, despite being a lovely person. No real advice on my hair condition, when I asked more accurate questions the answer was "you google, and tell me". I understand that we all need to start somewhere but I had to go back as I found uneven cuts. Instead of going a third time (after 2 hours already), to rectify the not great job, I decided to pay another place to do what they could to looks better. Ended up with really short hair. I would recommend to have a bit of background of the hairdresser before to settle for any at this place.

   I should have checked the reviews before going… Carelessly overlapped the bleach and fried my hair off. Thank goodness it was only in one spot. Sent an email about this on the 26th April (nearly 2 weeks ago) and no response. Cannot be fixed obviously, so expected a refund

   I'd pay money on the idea that the person cutting my hair has no proper training at all. I could have messed my hair up in 1/10th of the time it took him to mess it up. After seeing the place had no customers, I went in for a quick trim with layering on top. After he "brushed" my hair (from the top down) and pulled out the scissors to start cutting already, the other hair dresser noticed and came over asking if he brushed it because it was still full of knots and hadn't been sectioned. My hair knots easily. She then brushed it properly and sectioned my hair into three places. I asked her if he knew what he was doing and she said yes, he just can't speak English and is nervous about that but he knows how to do everything. He then spent about 5 minutes each time when he'd section my hair which was so painful waiting for him to hurry up and then he'd cut, looking nervous the whole time. At one stage, I could hear he was cutting a huge chunk in one go but I couldn't see what he was doing because he was behind me. I kept telling myself he knew how to do everything. He cut one side, and then went to the next. After 45 long minutes, he was done with the trim part. When he dropped the side of hair down and I saw what he had done. There was a good 2-3 inch difference in lengths between sides, it was chunky and there were tendrils of longer hair hanging down. The other hair dresser fixed it up after I freaked out but I lost at least 5 inches off my hair. Don't ever let the man cut your hair. I now know why there were no customers on a Saturday afternoon.
