Replaced my car’s oil separator back in April after it started to leak. Unfortunately, it failed again, but the team at Matipo replaced the part under warranty. Good communication and a decent courtesy car. Would recommend this garage for repairs on European vehicles.

I really don’t understand where all the good reviews for this Google listing come from. Today, I experienced the worst customer service. From the very beginning, I had booked a WOF and clearly mentioned in the email that I also needed an audio and key pair service. But when I arrived, a male staff member told me they could only do the WOF. They not only couldn’t provide a quote for the extra repair or service, they also couldn’t tell me whether they could provide the additional services I requested. I said “ok,” but it’s really strange that a company doesn’t even know its own services. I confirmed that we would only do the WOF today and expected that by the end of the day someone might inform me whether my WOF involved any parts needing repair, and whether it could be completed together with the audio and key services. I also mentioned that if there were any issues, someone could contact me—I feel anyone doing WOF should understand what it means. However, they never contacted me. I assumed my WOF should have been completed, but I needed to arrange someone to pick up my car, so I had to confirm the timing. When I called the front desk, a female staff member told me my WOF had failed and that I could pick up the car. Although I was disappointed, considering this is an older car, it seemed reasonable. However, when I continued to ask whether I could arrange a repair, the staff member said it couldn’t be done today. I felt that was understandable, but when I further asked how and when I could book the next repair, she surprisingly said it wasn’t possible. I then made a second call, to confirm what I should do if I couldn’t book the next repair, and how to deal with the already failed WOF. The staff’s response was even more disappointing, with almost no solution. Although they said it could be discussed in person, I couldn’t come today. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating day, and I am very disappointed with the service here.
Went here for an alignment and no word of a lie, this is the best alignment my vehicle has ever had. It's a 25 year old prado, and now it drives like a new car, and it already drove well before, so that's saying something! Can highly recommend the team at Matipo garage, and shout out to Jason, who really knows his stuff when it comes to setting up a vehicle correctly during an alignment. All my bump steer is gone, and the steering wheel sits perfectly on centre. Top tier work, thanks guys.

Matipo Garage is the only place I go to sort out any car issues. Their staff are friendly and efficient - it's always a great experience. I would 100% recommend this business (and I do!) to anyone and everyone.
I have been taking my car to Matipo Garage for years, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our car has to work hard, and they have kept it in excellent condition - there has never been an issue that they have not been able to resolve completely. On the list below I have just ticked the issues fixed on my latest visit - but over the years they have diagnosed and fixed a range of engine issues, replaced shock absorbers and replaced tyres, brake rotors and pads. It is rare to find mechanics who are so skilled and also so fundamentally trustworthy - I would never consider having our car serviced anywhere else.
They were so kind and easy to deal with!! Really looked after my car and me! They went above and beyond with their service while also being efficient! I highly highly recommend bringing your car to Matipo Garage, I will never go anywhere else!!
If you are looking for honest hard working mechanics this is the place for you. They have been very helpful on a number of occasions. I have been using them for a few years now and I am always blown away by their knowledge and ability and how they manage their business. I will never go anywhere else.
