   These guys are the absolute best. As a younger woman who knows very little about cars, finding a mechanic that is really honest and transparent can be pretty hard, but Ryan and the team have been nothing but fantastic to deal with. Before any work is done they give me a call to chat about options and price, as well as what's immediate and what's preventative, with no pressure to do any work that I don't want to fork out for. Have taken multiple cars here over the years and will continue to.

   While staying in Christchurch, I visited Garage One several times—first with my 1986 Toyota Hiace, and later with my BMW. I can highly recommend this garage for both old and new cars. They consistently helped me with all my issues, providing excellent communication and reasonable prices. A big thank you to Ryan, who always worked hard to find the best possible solutions and kept me informed about the work being done. Even when I called him during a road trip, he gave me useful advice. If I ever return to Christchurch and need a mechanic, Garage One will definitely be my go-to.

   I have been taking my vehicles to Garage One for a couple of years and I have never been disappointed with the service I receive. Most recently I have been trying to purchase a new car and so they have completed a number of pre-purchase inspections for me. Not only did they give me a detailed report but gave me their honest and expert opinion on what would be the best cars to look at for what my needs were. Ryan and the team are incredibly genuine and their customer service is excellent. They know their stuff, give good advice and are very accommodating with appointments, courtesy cars and follow up care and reminders. So grateful to have found such a good team to help with all my car needs.

   I have used Garage One for about 10 years. Dale and his team are great. They are always very helpful and honest. This week my car had a fuel issue and had to be towed. Dale waited after hours until I arrived and had a loan car ready for me so I could get home. The service they provide is second to none.
