They did not supply wool clothing We even asked someone from a different store if they did and they gave us the wrong information saying there other store had that item
I ordered 1300 dollars worth of clothes. They were stopped by customs at Auckland airport, for 5 weeks. I received 2 warnings and was told to pay all sorts of fees. The communication from Johnny Big was slow, and unacceptable. When the clothes eventually arrived, the jackets were all crumpled. I had bought alternatives in the mean time and returned most of it to store. The south area manager for NZ process it. He was unapologetic and wouldn’t give me a receipt. I was offered a 20 percent off voucher for the inconvenience, which I had already received for signing up. They compare this experience with signing up!!! I refused the voucher and complained. The communications again have been slow and I’ve been told sorry, but tough luck! WILL NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN.
bought few clothes from Johnny big… worst material I’ve ever used..! First time writing a review about the quality/material.
It's great to have a selection of extra large size menswear avaliabe all in one store. It's really fantastic to finally have Johnny Bigg in NZ. Unfortunately, you can tell that Johnny Bigg's clothing is designed for the Australian market as all of the fabrics are more lightweight than what you would typically want in NZ. I still gladly shop there.
Had the best experience at the Riccarton store today! Cathy you are so helpful and being a customer of Johnny Bigg for years (in Auckland) we had no idea Johnny bigg offered alterations till we visited Riccarton! Highly recommend, cheers
Fantastic Customer service from Jess at first and then Cathy when picking up a jacket. I Bought a suit and the jacket needed to be ordered in for me. Jess ordered it and let me know it had arrived and then, While picking up I needed to exchange the pants and Cathy looked after me. No hassles at all, just awesome customer service. Thanks to you both.
As soon as we entered this shop we were greeted by an amazing sales person. Kathy was so helpful, full of fashion knowledge and super keen to help us choose a new style. My husband was blown away by how Kathy made us feel in the shop and her style and fashion sense made the experience memorable. Thank you Kathy and I hope this company know what a valuable staff member they have!
The saleswoman here is AMAZING. So friendly and really knows how to help you find exactly what you're looking for. My husband even tried on a colour he would never normally wear and loved it. We will definitely be coming back.
More a review of who we dealt with rather than the store itself. My partner and I were served by Thomas and he was exceptional! We had a special request of swapping a shirt purchased some time ago for a smaller size and he was very helpful. Went above and beyond to help select some options (after asking what my partner liked most) and was super friendly. Previous experiences in this store have been less positive due to the customer service but Thomas redeemed Johnny Bigg completely in our eyes. Thanks :)
