   What ever happened to the lovely ladies who worked a Sunday? It has been a few months now since I last seen them working but always enjoyed seeing their friendly faces without being made to feel pressured on purchasing an item while in store. Doesn't seem to be the same atmosphere in the Riccarton store anymore with staff turnover and work place bullying by management to be a constant thing I hear. Word definitely travels especially when you hear it from other stores in the Mall. Such a shame.

   I was the only person in Max Riccarton today. 3 staff members talking at the counter, never acknowledged me. I walked round the entire store and took a top into changing room. It did not fit but it took 5 minutes for somebody to ask. By this stage I had redressed and was ready to leave. In this day when retail are struggling, I would have thought good customer service should be a given… not at this store. Very disappointing, probably won’t go back to this particular store

   I would purchase at the shops where crews greet me as if I were their friends who visit their house. Max did dedicate and invest a lot of money in decorations and try to upgrade the brand as a complete brand instead of another clothing brand which could be easily replaced by global competitors or even Temu. However, I was truly impressed by the new Merno Co op brand as well as the table and dressing room make over whil wearing my Lax wool short coat. The only thing that a mid aged looking staff said to me is "Are you ok? . I guess a quick(not even have to be sincere) hello or good afternoon is not needed. So was my hunting at Max. I recommend to go to Portman nearby. Price is fair so is the floor assistance customers will get.

   my other two friends and i decided to have a look around whilst the two girls around OUR AGE! (we’re only 21) began staring and laughing at us. very unprofessional customer service! you cannot laugh out customers like that is public discrimination and humiliation!
