In the current market where there is an oversupply of second hand relocatable houses, even a free gift may not be considered seriously by the relocation company. Fortunately, TRHCO find the potential of our old house in Massey. Although it was not sold out after 6 months presentation, TRHCO donated the house to Whangaparaoa College to help the students in Trades Academy for vocational training in building and construction. I greatly admire their charitable act which also helps us saving the cost of house demolishing. What's more, TRHCO help us to remove the conservatory without extra charge. I once was very worried there would be possible procrastination or over-extension than the guaranteed removal date, but there were none. I'm in awe. TRHCO is trustworthy. Especially Mr. Myles is friendly, patient and responsive, always reply to my messages within a short time. It's very impressive for his clear communication from the start to the end of the process. I have never felt any pressure during my interactions with him. Definitely I will recommend you to everyone. I hope we have the chance to cooperate with you again in the near future.

This is the first time we elected to purchase and relocate a house. This was a very nerve-wracking yet exciting project due to the unknown. The total duration from initial contact to delivery was just under 6 months and we are very pleased with the final result with only minor cosmetic remedial works after traveling close to 300km. I found Myles from TRHC very helpful to guide me through the requirements and very supportive on updating me prior to entering into a contract while I was wanting on financial approval. Paul from TRHC was also great to work with on the end to end consenting process, progressing without any hold ups. Finally meeting up with James from Jack House Transit during the route and site visit put my nerves at ease, with the experience they have in relocating buildings and their team executing the delivery with perfection. This has been a β€œhigh octane” and exhilarating project that I would defiantly do again. If you are considering a relocatable, I highly recommend approaching THCO for their professionalism, experience and support. I wish to extend a big thank you to the whole team… Brent

If you own land and are considering relocating a house, I highly recommend reaching out to The Relocatable Home Co. They offer a variety of houses in different sizes and setups. Charl Eksteen assisted me throughout the entire process of relocating my house, and he was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Being new to this process, I was initially unsure about many aspects, which sometimes caused stress. However, Charl always remained calm and provided me with all the necessary contacts and recommendations. Thanks to his guidance, we successfully relocated the house, and they continue to assist us with council alterations and other needs. I enthusiastically recommend Charl to anyone looking to relocate a house.

We had a great experience dealing with Myles from Relocatable Homes. Right from start to finish line he was always on the ball, very proactive & easy to deal with. Our first experience with Relocatable has left us with a lasting impression. I shall recommend Myles to anyone who is wanting to relocate their home. Look forward to our next project soon....Raj & Meena

TRHC and their parent company Jack Transit have been outstanding to deal with. This was our second relocation so we knew what we are in for. It's not for the fainthearted. From Myles their sales man in Auckland to the designers Paul and Bodene to accounts, the owners this has been one smooth ride with excellent communication what was going to happen and honouring the contract and every promise they made. I would use them again anytime.

After receiving a great referral to Relocatable Homes Co. we found Sandra to be most helpful with an appraisal which we accepted. After a bit of discussion about how the house would be shifted down a narrow driveway the move was completed. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to remove your old home in a quick and efficient manner.

We have recently worked with Paul at The Relocatable Home Co and found his communication and responsiveness excellent, his instruction were clear and we were more than happy to collaborate with him to assist in providing a great service for his client.

Our experience with TRHC has been atrocious. We went with them as we loved the sound of a company who could help us as first time builders/relocaters to make the experience easy and smooth. It has been ANYTHING but. The first wasted 6 months of our search for a relocatable house, we had 2 houses we said we wanted to buy that were sold out from under us (sales person said 'ok, i'll get the paperwork to you on Monday' but didn't hear from him for WEEKS despite calls, texts, etc. at which stage it was sold). THEN eventually we managed to purchase a dwelling with a removal date in 3 months for which we were assured it would be enough time to get consent. The drafts people on the job were terrible at getting going though and seemed to have NO regard for the removal date. Communication was shocking too, with it taking well over 2 weeks to get any reply from them each time (again despite numerous calls, texts and emails trying to get hold of them). This meant important questions where often left unanswered for weeks and plans were ridiculously slow in being drawn up which meant we missed the removal date (despite covid lockdown even giving us another 6 weeks). SO we had to pay thousands extra to move the house into storage, where it still sits. Their communication with sub trades (eg. engineer, geotech) was terrible too and we were often assured they had been contacted/info passed on but again this had not happened which we only discovered with our own follow ups, wasting more weeks. It has been 9 months now since we signed up for their design service and have only just submitted paperwork to council. Meanwhile we have thousands of dollars of ongoing costs for storage and rent. The only consolation is that there has been some small improvement in communication and getting things done in the last 2 months. If I had to do it all again though I would not use them. They really need to work on their communication, professionalism and not promising what they can't deliver. PS - we did send a letter of complaint a few months in which was passed on to management, who never got back to us.

We had a really good experience with TRHC several years ago buying a house and getting it moved onto our section. They helped with drafts and updating paperwork as needed. We had great communication and would use them again in future.

Sold me a brand new house that was not actually ready for sale for more than four months. By then, our agreement stated that I needed to pay them the remaining ~$130k, and relocate the house. At this point, because of their ineptness, I've only had an build consent for around a week, and advise them that the time frames they've left me with are simply not possible. TRHCo only got more threatening at this point, and communications started to come from their lawyer and owner. I ended up honoring the agreement a few weeks late, with the house mover storing the house for me for two months, and my employer paying TRHCo (rather than my bank). They made my project very scary and stressful, and their incompetence or dishonesty (probably both), cost me thousands of dollars and months of progress. If you absolutely have to deal with them, make sure your sale agreement has protections for you the purchaser, and that their responsibilities have written deadlines. If/when things go wrong, get anything they tell you in writing.
