    We recently moved from Hamilton, and from the moment I reached out to New Shoots Tauranga, the team was incredibly prompt, welcoming, and supportive. They made the transition so smooth for both my daughter and me. Throughout her time there, she was genuinely cared for and nurtured — she truly enjoyed every single day. She absolutely adored her teachers, Ruby and Saul, and would walk in each morning with so much excitement. The staff are warm, friendly, and always attentive, which gave me complete peace of mind. We’re so grateful for the love, support, and care she received at New Shoots Tauranga. Although she’s now moved on to school, we’ll always look back on her time there with appreciation and fond memories.

    An absolutely beautiful place for children to learn & grow. The spaces both indoor & outdoor are perfectly set out for children to feel safe to explore what they love & to encourage their learning. I have had one young man from 2-5years attend & now my 3year has been apart of the newshoots family since he was 6months old. The team are amazing.! Caring, supportive & absolutely love what they do. Can not thank them enough for how they look after my babies & would highly recommend them

    I have been so impressed by the team at New Shoots Tauranga and all the wonderful care they provide for my daughter. They provide excellent care to a very high standard, yet maintain a gentle and playful nature. My daughter started when she was very young and the extra time and consideration they gave to my whanau was deeply appreciated. As a new mum, the kiwi room team quickly became an extended part of our whanau which made the transition to daycare so much easier. They have been consistently outstanding and I couldn't be more grateful to have found such an awesome daycare for my daughter. They regular photo updates and nutritional meals are amongst the many wonderful things they provide!

    We have been with new shoots since my daughter was 6 months old and do not regret our decision whatsoever, the staff and management are so welcoming and friendly. The teachers are amazing and always go above and beyond for the children in the centre. Such a beautiful atmosphere, I always feel so safe leaving my daughter with them as I know she will be well cared for and looked after. Thank you team, you guys rock!

    We're an immigrant family with our daughter born in New Zealand. As we don't have any family here we were faced with the daunting task of finding a day care for her. We decided to only look at three care facilities. I wasn't sold on new shoots when I went there the first time as it felt too clinical (too clean). We had our meeting with Brenda and we knew this had to be the place. The absolute care and interest in our girl (and every child) is astonishing. We cannot recommend new shoots enough. She's in her third class and the teachers and kids have contributed to her growth. And we love the feedback. One of the things that sealed the deal for us were the fact that everyone eats the same food during the day. It saves you as parent having to prepare any and no child feel left out as we are aware not every family get to enjoy the same things in life. We have our second on the way and cannot wait for him/her to go here too (after we've had our time first). Thank you

    From the moment I walked into New Shoots I could feel the amazing atmosphere and knew that this was the place I could trust with my granddaughters. From day 1 when they were only 2 and still babies needing cuddles and hugs the staff, especially Nanny Mel!♥️l have been amazing,the twins have absolutely thrived there. I could rest my mind knowing they were being so well looked after, fed, loved and happy! They are 5 now and on their last 2 weeks and I can tell you we are going to miss everybody!! Thank you so much New Shoots you truly are the best daycare in town. I did look at others but New Shoots atmosphere, cleanliness and amazing staff truly make this the best place!!!♥️♥️♥️

    We have been with New Shoots Tauranga coming up 2 years. We have had nothing but a welcoming environment for my toddler from the day I enquired about this centre to now. I love how he comes home each day saying what he has done, who he has played with, what he has eaten (usually says cake but that's out of the mouth of babes) The staff, his whanau teacher, is exactly like that, they make me as a parent feel welcome and as a part of their family. If I have any issues they put my mind at ease. They encourage his learning and go out of their way to peak his current interests I have nothing but praise for the staff and the care that they give my son. I look forward to spend the next 18months with them all.

My daughter of course created such strong bonds with the amazing new shoots staff that it made it easier for myself to trust that my daughter was in great hands.     My wife Judy and I have the pleasure of taking our granddaughter to NSCC Tauranga and picking her up quite often. She is happy to go there while her mummy works as a nurse in an adjacent clinic. We love the happy cheerful staff, the inclusive, caring and loving atmosphere. The delicious smells coming from the kitchen, the big smiles on the faces of all the staff and spontaneous hugs from the children there welcome us when we arrive. We’ve also had the pleasure of attending “family night” when we all sit down as a big family and enjoy fish and chips. We highly recommend NSCC Tauranga. It’s a good and safe place.
