Unfortunately, my experience with Tauranga Institute for relationships was not good. I was being psychologically abused and exploited in my relationship but this was not recognised as a possibility by Jacqui. Anyone can make a mistake or not see something. However, the unethical part of this was her offer to me to see me for counselling separately after we decided to stop couples counselling. When I went to take up this offer, she blithely declined to see me. Thus, her initial offer was not in good faith, and this is a fairly serious ethical breach which she committed without compunction.
