   Much less impressed with service here than at the chch central store. We ordered a c.$800 car seat just in time for my return to work and accepted a 10% discount as a replica of the forthcoming black friday discount due in a couple of weeks time. The car seat was late, meaning two special trips to store to pick up a loaned alternate and it transpired that the black friday discount was actually 20% off so we essentially overpaid by almost $100 for a car seat that we hadn't even received by the time the offer was in place. There was no proactive communication about any of this and we either would have waited for the sale or selected an alternative model.

   I have hired a baby seat for the car twice from this location, and I appreciated as an international traveller that the team has made installation prior to arrival and pickup after the car drop something I've not had to worry about.

   I thought this company worked with Mums but seems to go against them. I’m normally great at getting quotes but I don’t know if it’s baby brain or what. I’d been convinced that renting a capsule was the way for me. Looked into a few options $80 - $150 etc great! I tried to hire one at baby on the move but the lady suggested I bring my push chair adapter in to check compatibility. Brilliant suggestion, I appreciated this. I did that, went back two weeks later with the adapter and there was a different lady on and was the only one staff member in the shop with three customers… she showed me the capsule she thought was most appropriate which is what I asked for her to advise me on the best all round (safety/quality/price) and then went to pay the deposit… as I was about to pay the deposit she told me the rental was $250 which felt $$ but there’s people waiting and I felt silly questioning it as I was pay waving the non refundable deposit. I’ve then found out it’s 20% more due to a pick up in January. In the carpark I googled the one I have selected and it’s $320 (right now on special) new from baby factory. I’ve just signed an agreement to lease one for 6 months for the same amount. As I swiped my card, I was informed that it was non refundable so that’s on me but I feel she would have known the value of the capsule and I took her advice so I don’t really have a leg to stand on..I’ve left it at the deposit but will not be hiring the capsule or using this company again.

   As a first time mum I went in straight from hospital to get a pump to continue my feeding journey, I hadn’t had the chance to do a lot of research to know what is what, was recommend a particular pump that was a little more on the pricy side than I would have liked but the staff highly recommended it and only this one, to have the valve break 2 weeks after use to be told upon calling that all of the silicon parts need replacing often. Had this been explained before purchase I would have held off spending as much as I did right there and then to be able to do the research on what is out there. Upon looking at the website all parts for the particular pump need replacing often (likely 1-2 months) according to the manufacturer and the website doesn’t ship to NZ. None of this was in the sales pitch at the time of purchase, would be nice to see all information given when selling a item

   My husband and I recently came here to look at prams and car seats. As first time parents it can be a minefield navigating the information and product overload! The staff here were super helpful and talked us through all our options. We ended up going with a great pram and capsule hire combo which we're super happy with. Just waiting on the arrival of our new addition to start using it! Thanks so much for all your help team.

   We got a car seat installed from the Wairakei Rd store and they did a terrible job of it unfortunately. The car seat was installed so badly that it rocked from side to side. We had to get it reinstalled by Plunket. Really disappointing as we’ve always found the service at Baby on the Move great.

   Today we went in to look at a car seat for my son, it was a busy day today with people popping in and out. Your care towards your customers is fantastic, unfortunately i never got the womans name who served us but she was patient and welcoming despite being very busy. She answered all our questions and even fitted our car seat for us! Thank you for the care and patience! You guys are fantastic!
