Really very bad experience specially SHAN and BIBI . Totally rude without any reason and unprofessional service if the star is less than 1 then I will definitely use that one. Needs to train the staff professionally. There is no action against them I already registered my complaint on line . They needs to learn the customerβs respect. After half of the day I called online NZTA and explained what is the matter then they provide me the reference number and after half day struggle they did just because of senior management order them. I never ever face this kind of rubbish service in NZ.

Would rather give a zero. No good if the first thing the driver instructor is rude to a customer without even saying hello first. I'll never use this service for my family

The receptionist, Bibi, was extremely rude. She didn't provide the correct information. She didn't let me fill out the driver's license renewal form and refused to let me get an eye exam. She also messed up the order of everything. Later, another staff member came and explained everything clearly in just two sentences. While I was waiting, a New Zealand woman arrived. Her attitude was completely different: very welcoming and she even helped her take the forms. This made me think she was racist, because she was just as rude the last time I went to the front desk.

Only two people behind the counter, but the line was empty when I arrived. Took a minute for the second clerk to notice me. Once we got started, everything went perfectly smoothly. The staff here are courteous and professional and know their stuff.

We visited this AA store for an important task β to convert my partner's international driver licence. What should have been a routine and respectful interaction turned into a deeply humiliating and disappointing experience due to the extremely rude and disrespectful behaviour of one of your staff members, Brett. From the moment we approached the counter, Brettβs attitude was cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. When we handed over our documents, including our passports and driving licences, he returned them by carelessly throwing them back on the counter β treating official documents with the kind of disregard youβd expect for junk mail. This wasnβt just poor service; it was blatantly disrespectful. When we asked questions, he refused to listen, offered no guidance or explanation, and simply repeated himself like a broken record. He avoided eye contact, had zero courtesy, and didnβt even make a basic effort to assist or explain the process. We tried to show him a document on our phone and asked if it would be accepted β he didnβt even bother to look at it properly. Instead, he dismissed it outright, dropped the phone back rudely, and said, βI canβt see whatβs written on it,β without even attempting to zoom in. It was clear he wasnβt interested in helping β only in rushing us away. His behaviour was not only unprofessional and hostile, but it also carried an undertone of racism. We were made to feel unwelcome, looked down upon, and openly disrespected β right in front of other staff and customers. This is absolutely unacceptable. If Brett does not want to interact with customers or treat them with basic dignity, then perhaps he shouldnβt be the face of your customer service counter. AA has clearly failed to train him to handle customers with the respect and fairness they deserve. To the AA senior management reading this β we urge you to investigate this incident seriously. Behaviour like this cannot be brushed aside. Whether itβs a lack of training, personal bias, or sheer arrogance, it has no place in your organisation. Customers come to you for help and services β not to be humiliated On a Positive Note: We would like to thank Shane (the French gentleman) for his professionalism and guidance, who kindly followed up with us, arranged the necessary documents online, and helped us submit her application. He restored some of our faith in your service. They deserve recognition for doing what Brett could not β help with patience and respect. But as for Brett β his conduct demands serious attention and disciplinary action. We will never return to this store and will actively discourage others from doing so unless we see meaningful change.

A couple of weeks ago I went to this AAa query about the verification of my realme. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and grumpy towards me and another family. I was really polite to her and she accused me of being disrespectful towards another employee which wasn't true since there were a lot of people around me who saw this. Watching all the bad reviews it seems that had happened a lot specially with this lady. From now I would rather prefer to go a bit further and be treated with respect. Not coming back. P.S: Hopefully I would find a good reply from you at least and not a copy and paste that you will talk to the district manager for training purposes. Good day.

I've never been one to post negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience regarding the gentleman with glasses at the counter. Unfortunately, I found him to be quite rude and disrespectful. It's essential for customer service representatives to show politeness and understanding, as everyone faces their own challenges in life. It's disheartening when someone's personal frustrations are taken out on others.

My visit started well, a car park right outside the front door! Nothing to do with AA but a good start nonetheless. There was a bit of a queue but the staff seemed to mow that down quickly. The attendant processed my request efficiently and was a great communicator. Before I knew it, I was out of there, wondering what to do with the rest of the afternoon. All in all, a great service.

The greeter helps you with the forms. Lots of tellers available. Quick and prompt process. Much more fun than doing renewals online.

LOVELY and helpful staff. I'd had my car broken into and been robbed, where a fairly significant amount of money was stolen, along with my wallet, cards and licence. It was an extremely stressful time trying to sort everything out, and the staff at AA Barton Street made the process of licence renewal as smooth as it could be. Thanks team.
