Such a great and free asset to the community. The shade sails really help and a few picnic tables in the area too.

A family favourite, great place for kids. Shade sale not up for another week or so but a great spot nevertheless. Upgraded toilet and changing facilities and some shaded seating area for parents would see this be five stars. We will be back again and again this summer I’m sure!
Nice fenced safe pool area for small children
Great place for picnic great activities and playground for children close to beach had a great time close to dairy great takeways and fish& chips
Great wee pool for toddlers up to around 5 although older kids were enjoying it! Has a BBQ just outside and a few picnic tables scattered around the park to use for a meal and parking close by. There is even a dairy and fish n chip shop if you don't mind a short walk. It's not a full 5/5 for a couple of reasons. The picnic benches don't have holes for umbrellas and there isn't alot of shade at the park. It makes it difficult on hot days to get a cool place to rest. The paddling pool has sprinklers etc but they weren't working while we were there which was disappointing (there's a sign saying how they come on/off but we were there from 2.30-6pm and never saw them on).
So glad they retained this paddling pool. Great for littlies and for adults who want to sit and cool off their feet.
