PBT had been the courier chosen by someone sending a parcel to us, which ended upβas all courier parcels to us do when you are on a rural deliveryβwith our slack rural postal contractor. Even though at that point the parcel was out of their hands, they worked tirelessly by phone for a week to hound the contractor into finding and actually delivering the parcel. We were so impressed we have switched to using them as the courier for our own small business, and they have proven to be equally professional. Into the bargain, they are also cheaper by far than any of the previous courier companies we've used. *Update: We have been using solely PBT as our courier for 7 years now, and while we have had 100% success with parcels being delivered, we experienced our first damaged parcel recently. PBT issued a full refund within 2 days of submitting a claim and initiating the resolution process. Very good service.

Perishable goods order from Auckland to Hamilton ( clearly marked on box ) - ended up sitting in couriers van for over 28 hours. Went to depot to find out where it was which they were unwilling to call driver for an update. When eventually arrived driver was rude and didnβt care less - no apology. Perishable goods were ruined. Do not use this company. Donβt even want to give then 1 star!!! After I received goods Driver changed date he received the goods for delivery to 1min - so made it look like instead of sitting in his van for over 28 hours he only had for a minute.

Avoid using this courier if you possibly can. Eight days ago I placed an order with a Taupo firm, who unfortunately sent it with PBT. I live in Hamilton, but still haven't got my order (by now I could have walked to Taupo and back). I've called them twice, but gave up after waiting 25+ minutes both times - making people wait that long shows contempt for the customer. Very poor service.

Terrible customer service, ridiculously long wait times on hold just to be transferred to branches that don't answer, just to be put back on hold at a call centre and have a different confused person answer the phone. Customer service email doesn't respond either. 10 days to get a package from Auckland to Hamilton and tracking says package was in tauranga. Would've been easier to walk up to Auckland and pick up the package.

I have never had such bad service from a courier company. It is all fur coat and no knickers. I asked for a fragile sticker to be placed on the box but this did not happen. The item arrived in broken condition and the force/mishandling required to achieve this damage must have been considerable. When I approached them, they couldn't care less because I was a casual, not an account holder. They were completely disinterested in helping me in any way out of this. Don't bother using this courier company, you will be surely be disappointed if not financially harmed. Rather go to a reputable company who cares for its customers and their goods.

I don't have the right words to describe this company. It damaged 3 of my items. They either punch holes in it with a forklift or drop the load from a height. They discourage employees and drivers from signing the consignment note when collecting the parcels. Therefore, if the goods are lost or damaged, they do not need to make any compensation. I recommend their service to anyone whose packages are cheap, heavy, indestructible and unattractive.
