They suck dont go to them. They're useless. Tried to get a dead settlement seen to for legal advice. In which they dont specialise in. Then referred me to the wrong property lawyers at Harrison... called Robyn unhelpful.
I don't think I would have been refunded after buying a car from a car dealership that broke down after 2 days of ownership. Without Ben's intervention and expertise I'd still be at a loss. I am so grateful, thankyou
I contacted them wanting just an initial opinion/advice on a matter. I provided all required information, full names of all parties involved. Was then asked to apply to make sure I qualified for their service. I did. Was then asked for all parties names, despite this having been provided. Then was promptly told there was a conflict of interest & they won't work with me. Given a list of pay for service lawyers and that was it. This service was absolutely terrible. All their advertising stating free legal advice, you go through the hoops prior to asking, then just shoved away and told my only option is to pay in full for another lawyer to give me all I wanted which was an unbiased opinion on a matter. Not to engage their services to do anything else. Feel very let down by this agency that makes out they are there to help the community, but they treated me like they didn't care, and then got rid of me with a "conflict of interest" claim, which I actually don't believe for one moment.
Baywide Law have been absolutely wonderful helping me with preparing legal documents with no expectation of remuneration for doing the work. Highly recommend this service.

Baywide Community Law Service has offices in Tauranga and Whakatane. It is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm to provide free legal information and advice to people who cannot access other services due to factors such as financial limitations or disability. Baywide continues to provide excellent service to clients under the Covid-19 traffic light system. Currently we are operating by appointment only and are delivering the majority of our services remotely by phone or zoom.
