The worst taxi I every experienced. Took a taxi from britomart to sofitel hotel which is 5 to maximum 10 mins distance. The driver charged me nearly 30 dollars. And he was saying the taxi is private taxi which was less that standard quality and not even air-conditioned. Never use this taxi.

Appalling service, booked in advance and advised customer had a disability and was non verbal. Red Cabs sent an automated text 10 minutes prior to pick up time stating they were running late. After phoning company was told to try another taxi company some 30 minutes later.

Completely useless. Do not use if you need to be somewhere at a specific time. I scheduled a journey ahead of time with the central controller. Agreed a pickup time and gave my address. A few minuted AFTER the scheduled pickup time recieved a call from a driver asking for my address. He then gave an ETA at my address of 20min later. Cancelled the trip and had to make other last minute arrangements. The driver was utterly unapologetic. Will never be using them again.

Terrible experience not only one or two times but THREE!! I am a regular user of taxi services and Red Cabs are definitely the worst I have ever experienced. Rude and unhelpful phone operators. Major delays in taxi arriving. My advice, if you want to ensure you arrive somewhere on time do not book with Red Cabs

I was booked in to see my GP which stands for General Practitioner/Doctor. Some people call it GI but in New Zealand it is called GP. I had booked a taxi 3 days prior the appointment. When it come to my pick up it appears the person on the phone forgot to do the booking or the driver just felt lazy. The people on the Phone seem very Vague. And cant remember details as they lack empathy and lack organisational skills. And still get paid to do what? NOTHING

I hate posting this because the majority of drivers are great people but wow the head office needs sorting out!!!! Iβm currently waiting for over an hour for my booked taxi to turn up. Itβs the second time they have made me miss a physio appointment and one other time I missed specialist appointment because no cab turns up. Poor effort! The Manager Belinda is NEVER available to talk to and doesnβt ring back. They leave jobs on hold so the drivers canβt pick them up and meantime they client is left waitingβ¦. Itβs a wonder they get the big contracts for Airport and ACC with poor quality staff despatching.

On 9 September I booked a taxi 90 minutes before I needed to be picked up. When the time came I waited and no taxi. I phoned and was told that one was on its way. Still no taxi so I phoned again only to be told that all the taxis were over the other side of the river and to phone another taxi company. At the time my bus to Bulls was due to leave in 12 minutes. I was frantic! Luckily my neighbour was able to take me to the transport centre and I got there just in time. I am so disappointed in Red Cabs and their so called service. Never again!
