   Budo South Martial Arts Club is an exceptional family-based club that offers top-notch training in both Taekwondo Poomsae and Kyorugi (Sparring). The club is led by Master Garry, one of New Zealand’s leading Taekwondo instructors and a fantastic mentor. His dedication to the art and his students is inspiring. The club has highly experienced Masters Ute and Rosemary, who are Poomsae experts and national judges. Their expertise and guidance in Poomsae are invaluable to students of all levels. Master Jamie, a member of the National Team for Kyorugi, is an awesome mentor to the kids, providing them with excellent sparring training and motivation. Additionally, the club is supported by several assistant black belt coaches who contribute to the high-quality training environment. Budo South Martial Arts Club is a wonderful place for families and individuals to learn and grow in Taekwondo. The Arts of Hapkido and Gumdo is also available.

   My kids have been attending this term & really enjoying learning taekwondo. There are lots of kids & adults that attend & it's suitable for all fitness levels. Great way for kids to learn some self defense skills & get rid of that extra energy!

   Master Gary, Jamie and the budo south team were awesome tutors for my 7 year old and I even got to train alongside him! This place has a very warm family friendly vibe to the gym. My son has learnt some really good lessons to help him with confidence here. We have since left as he wants to do basketball with his cousin as kids do. But I appreciate the effect this dojang has had on him and recommend others to join.

   Really good dojang (martial arts training ground) wide range of martial arts such as Hapkido, Haidong Gumdo (sword martial art), Teuk Gong Moo Sol and Taekwondo all for the same price. Master Gary is a fun but strict master helping you better yourself while enjoying yourself. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try martial arts.
