   Been very impressed with Initio over a number of years now. Prices seem fair for the industry, i like just doing it online without lengthy call centre interactions. Had a good claim experience recently with a windscreen and an accident. I like you get one price, no tricks of initial cheap prices which get suddenly bumped up when you go through a detailed process. On the whole they seem fair and honest, and happy to recommend.

   Initio has great reviews online so I did online quotes for a few properties. The online quote process was quick and easy but the prices were horrible - 50 to 70% higher than my exiting insurer. Is this just a Wellington thing?

   I have put my own insurances with Initio and recommended them to others. The online dashboard makes things very easy to understand and the process of setting up insurance is very easy. For property investors it is even better with the NZPIF discount. The easy download of a Tenant Certificate is also great. Oh, I didn't mention that I saved around 25% by switching.... I really should have :)

   Quick online enrollment with no hassle but a but hesitant in engaging to a new company promissing the cheapest insurance payment. You'll see $300-500 difference from other big insurance company.
