Our Vets, I've never left two reviews -ever, but this is slightly different. Our doofus of a dog had to have a possible cancerous lump removed from his side ten days ago. The care we received was the usual and outstanding level that we know we will always get for our very nervous dog. It was the surgeon and her work that I wanted to share. Luigi's incision was long due to wanting to have wide margins for the best outcome. The surgeon has done an exemplary job of creating a seamless repair. The result ten days later is a perfectly knitted, flat, totally healed thin line. I'd be happy if this level of work were on my face. His recovery as a result of her skill and attention to detail has been uneventfully flawless. We are so stoked for Luig, (and us) and he's going to be ok too!

The people on the phone and at the vets are all amazing and so helpful. We have scrappy cats and a niggly dog and all of them are treated with kindness, sensitively and the most thorough care, (even when the dog is being a doofus). We really appreciate how well they have helped our dog with his years of epilepsy treatment which is a complicated and ever changing landscape of needs and medications.

What a fantastic team of kind, helpful and knowledgeable vets and nurses. We were able to book a same day emergency appointment for our dog, despite being registered at the Halswell sister clinic. We received thorough advice and detailed post-op instructions. Our anxious dog was happy and relatively calm. We were also surprised by the invoice amount, which was fair for last minute and the services performed. We would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Always a great experience with OurVets, they are accommodating with bookings and have fit us in last minute several times over the years, and the team really care about our dogs, always greeting them when we come in and the vets being very thorough with our consults. The reception team are lovely and I wish I knew their names but one of the ladies in particular has been so helpful with the process of transferring our dogs' info over as we move to Aus. Really appreciate it!

The reception staff are probably the rudest people I’ve ever come across. These guys are all over the place and then come in hot with email threats when they’d forgotten to charge us for medications. Sarah the manager is lovely but her staff really let her down. We have gone elsewhere and the advice we’ve received about our cat completely contradicts everything these guys have done over the years. They took out two of cats teeth and I’m pretty sure it didn’t even need to happen. Highly recommend avoiding these vets at all costs.

Used to be a great vet, but seems like all the good staff have left. Turned up for my appointment today which had been confirmed and I had a reminder for and was told 'they don't have it showing'. "It's our new system - we're having problem" so obviously they have had ongoing issues. I showed them the confirmation, but too bad basically. the one vet that didn't have appointments told the receptionist that I would just have to re-book! Thanks - after 20 years with this vet I have gone elsewhere and had great service at Straven Vet Centre. Had a full check over and was told much more about our dog than I had ever been advised of at Ourvets. There is many better vets out there now...try them.

I had to do what every pet owner dreads and bring my cat in to be put to sleep. I was very well looked after and I’m grateful to this vet clinic showing me humanity and understanding.

Reception/nurse when booking the appointment was more interested in the conversation around her that getting my pets details, further calls with receptionists have given the impression they do not care. The vet had no idea why I was there, gave the briefest of examinations on my elderly cat, she seemed more interested in another β€œmore urgent” case that was in the clinic. Would not go back or recommend them.

So happy with my experience today. Reception was lovely and attentive. The vet staff were also professional and quick to treat my cat. I was able to pick up my beloved earlier than expected. Instructions of further care were throughly explained and I left very happy with a healthy cat. Many thanks:)

I went early this morning as my cat been transferred from the after hour clinic. The receptionist was absolutely lovely, she went through everything with me and was really nice. Explained very well what will happen etc... It's really reassuring when your cat is so unwell to have nice staff who are there to help you. Really happy that I chose that clinic.
