   I must have gotten paired with the most inexperienced counsellor there because my experience worsened my mental health and I had to stop going after 2 sessions. It is a free service because the counsellors are in training and learn as they go. I understand this but my counsellor had no tact and made me feel worse about my situation instead of being helpful. Said things like “things didn’t go to plan for you did they” which just rubbed salt on the wound. I started crying in my second session and the first thing they asked is if I’ve been to a doctor (for medication). As someone who’s tried medication and had really scary side effects, this made me feel hopeless and that she couldn’t give me the help that I was seeking - talk therapy and what not. Not to mention she wanted to end the session after less than 30 minutes. She also asked what I needed from her that I couldn’t get from my own support (as if I knew the exact help I needed, that should be her job to know and how to help). Lastly because I was crying, she asked about 3 times in a row if I was thinking about hurting myself to the point where it made me think, should I? Is my situation that bad? There was no real help. I just wanted someone to talk to and she had totally inappropriate responses to everything which could have had really negative consequences if I didn’t have the sense to realise she was not good and making me feel worse and to stop seeing her immediately. I had high hopes for this place and I really hope they help other people, but I don’t want other people to be as let down either. For anyone reading if you have a counsellor like this please don’t take it personally or let them make you feel like you’re a screw up and just need meds because you’re crying. Totally inappropriate and really disappointed in the lack of training.

   I feel saddened and discouraged as this place won't help me because I am unvacinated. You really should be ashamed

   Wow. The staff are helpful, kind, accommodating and so knowledgeable. The walls are lined with helpful resources and the atmosphere is safe and welcoming. They offer free counseling to women for a few sessions and I cannot explain what a life changing experience I had. I am forever grateful to this center, the staff and all those who shared a smile with me here. There is a library in the back as well! Thank you Womens Centre for all that you do, you are changing the world for the better!

   i searched for alcohol. this came up. is it accurate? or can i not buy wine here? who do i complain to? have a great day. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER maye the forth be with you always, twenty fold.
