Sandra here at Te Manu Toroa helped me through one of the biggest struggles of my life. My whole world flipped upside-down but Sandra was there through the whole thing. She made me see my worth and made me into the woman i am today. She is an amazing wonderful human being with the biggest heart and i truly would not be here today or have achieved what I have without her help over the past couple of years. She still constantly checks up on me to see that im doing well and i couldnt be more grateful to have her in my life.

when phoning most times phones go to voice mail. i spent 40 minutes trying to make a appointment they phoned back the next day didnt even tell me who they were when i answered. they talk way to loud so the entire waiting room can hear your business. ive utilised walk in once i arrived at 12 so first on waiting list somehow my name got bumped off the list i was finally seen a hour and half later. im sick of the drs always leaving. the only good thing about clinic is the price. even now i am considering changing. for a maori service one i have been apart of since the beginning it no longer holds any mana. its a sterile clinic which i think is only about money and not the people.

The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. We consistently see Dr. Davind Rajβheβs incredibly professional and genuinely listens. Compared to other doctors at the clinic who seem a bit worn out, Dr. Raj stands out with his energy and care. So glad heβs there!

2/9, I was in the clinic attending my wound dressing appointment at 13.30. I was arrived 15 minutes early and receptionists aware. I was waiting over an hour in agony crucial pain ( my burn wound was smelly and painful ). When I asked the receptionist that they didn't aware that I was there, and tell me that I was late for my appointment. However later they acknowledge their mistaken by didnot entering me to their system and wanting me to wait again, I can't wait any longer due the pain and need to pick up my children from school. The receptionist even said that they are short staff and the clinic busy with dying patient which wasnot informs to me in advance. I am very disappointed with their patient care and I am pay customer like others.

Disabled or chronically ill? Don't bother. Today, a doctor here (an older white man, I don't know his name) accused me of exaggerating my physical disabilities, said he does not believe one of them even exists, & mocked me for being unable to pass his quick leg strength test. I am a wheelchair user & have been disabled for nearly a decade. He implied that by using a wheelchair (reminder: I cannot walk) I am giving up on my health & becoming a burden on my loved ones by forcing them to care for me. He genuinely said burden. This is absolutely disgraceful behaviour from someone who I am entrusting with my well being & the fact that he was so comfortable treating me this way means I am not the first patient, or disabled person, he has acted like this towards. This is disgusting. The front facing staff & nurses I have had no issues with, though they can be difficult to reach. This doctor is a shame to this practice & his profession as a whole.

I have been with this practice for over two years now. I am also with mental health and addictions, which is under Te Manu toroa. I have Lisa as my support person. She has been an awesome support person, where I can talk to her, and be honest with no judgement. With the amount of instability in my life and me only wanting to be better and grow she's really helped me a lot in such a short time. And if I know of anyone in a similar position, I will definitely recommend her! S

I have now been attending this practice for more than a year. I moved after regular replacement of GPs at previous practice and was very happy with my initial doctor at TMT. Unfortunately she moved on and I am now meeting with Rosemary Minto, very competent nurse practitioner. However owing to frequently long waiting times for appointments at this clinic, I have also met with two different doctors - all helpful and competent as is Rosemary. But it would be good to be able to get to your own doctor within a couple of days, ideally. The reception staff and nurses are great too. The whole practice feels positive, friendly and welcoming. Well done, Te Manu Toroa whanau.

And each time i have been treated amazing. The longest i have waited for my appointment would be under 10 minutes! Seem so organized. Kia ora to the ladies behind the desk . Next time I'm in I'll bring a punnet of kina. Your a credit to our people!!

I have always been a patient of a hau Ora from waiheke island to Tauranga 6 years ago. The docs here have always gone above and beyond, (Iβm not a straightforward case) to one doc reading through 10 years of medical notes to learn about my case and put a 7 page report together. Which has really helped. When I have to see a different doc for emergency they too know what I need. The warm welcome from reception, the docs and canβt forget the nurses. The nurses really know how to calm and reassure. I love this hau Ora and wouldnβt go anywhere else.
