   Even a few months ago I would have easily given 5 stars for about 6 years of amazing, thoughtful care. But then at my appointment this year, it was like something happened and the philosophy of care did a 180. Historically, Dr. Sam had been supportive of a weight neutral treatment approach for me and my PCOS, with full knowledge and consideration of my struggle with anorexia and orthorexia. Even going so far as to condemn the practice of putting PCOS patients on diets as a means of treatment, calling it "barbaric." But then at this past appointment, the entire focus was on weight, and the importance of me losing weight, even to the point that despite trying to discuss my potential endometriosis, which she had suggested I had at a previous appointment, my questions went unacknowledged in favor of really emphasizing weightloss. She made assumptions about my lifestyle despite years of having talked about things before. And in emails she recommended Keto and intermittent fasting, as well as tracking the circumference of my waist. To repeat, Dr. Sam recommended Keto and intermittent fasting, and tracking the circumference of my waist, to a patient she knows and was strongly reminded, struggles with anorexia. The three stars are for the previous years of excellent care. I'll remember that Dr. Sam fondly. I recommended her to everyone. I sang her praises everywhere. She was amazing and I'm heartbroken about whatever happened to make her completely change to someone I can't in good faith recommend to anyone.

   Based on my personal experience I can’t warn you enough to avoid this clinic at all costs. The company website states they “listen & empower” and “give you choices to achieve goals that align with your values and your lifestyle” and this could not be further from the truth. The specialist emphasised their strong practice medical preference before even getting to know me and my health history. I felt unheard and pressured to follow a treatment I personally did not want for myself.
