First visit to SCP today and had a lovely experience. Had to collect a prescription for my daughter. Staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The pharmacy has a great selection of gifts and I left with some nice goodies for my daughter and I.
my worst experience in GP ever, They have lost my enrolment form twice and my son's four times. and every time I called them i have been told that my enrolment needed to be filled. I've been with them nearly six months and they kept doing it .every time i ring their manager is professionally arrogant and rude. Every time you ring them or you go in there, you will have to justify that you are already enrolled with them and they ask those same question on the repeat all over again. it's getting really embarrassing at this point now. I think somebody need to investigate her professional behaviour and services to their customers. Not taking the fact away that all the doctor we have visited here are friendly, professional and they go an extra miles for their patient.
Recently joined south city but won't be staying! Waited a few weeks for them to transfer my notes before I could book an appointment. Waited another week or so for an appointment. Day of the appointment they call my wife to change it to a phone appointment. I call back to confirm as all I needed was a specialist referral. At phone consult Dr wouldn't do the referral over the phone and said she would see me again after yet another week but she said because she canceled their wouldn't be a charge to be seen again. I finally get my appointment and then south city give the option to pay for 2 x consults or 1 consult and a referral letter which costed more than a consult. My wife warned me about this place, should have listened.
They have been really good until my recent visit. As I dont go often I had a few things I wanted checked. I basically did 1 and asked about other health concerns but got ohh sorry not enough time, Dr did a 2nd after prompting but I got told I would have to come back for others? I understand health is under pressure but cmon! $55 later I only had 2 of my issues considered and I guess I have to cough up again and take more time off work for the others. I was shocked as it felt I was pushed out the door...
GREAT doctors and nurses! Dr Jenny Wong is exceptionally fantastic. She listens to your needs as patients and parents and very caring. She made appropriate referral for my boy who had an accident. BLOODY RUDE line of receptionists! Management should review the front desk who arent helpful, rude and obstructive to patients’ medical care.
I would like to express my gratitude and patience when requiring minor surgery. South City Dr's especially Dr Ewen and Dr Hancock were helpful and professional in all their dealings with me. Louise from Accounts managed the financial side with diplomacy and tact during a challenging time. This enabled me to have the needed surgery and retain my dignity while I worked through the financial cost. I have been coming to this practise for 20 years now and right from Dr Bradley looking after me during my pregnancy to now - you have been amazing. Thanks heaps.
