    Was given 21 Hayton Rd as address to go to, but it's actually 25. Stairs to the office, or a lift if you choose, and friendly staff get the warehouse guys to bring out the order. My email said I'd signed fir the goods, but I hadn't.

    I struggle to believe the service they provide means they are not able to indicate a delivery time until the day of delivery. This means they expect me to block out a whole day of my calendar so I can be available for them to deliver just when they want to and not give me any indication of a time until the day of delivery. Seems to value themselves over customer, a poor service in my opinion.

    We have just had some wonderful Mainfreight guys pull up beside us to make sure we were OK.....had our hazards on in our motorhome as we were taking a phone call. 12.15pm, just south of Glenroy. So, so appreciative - South Island courtesy and kindness at its best. Thank you guys....hope you get this message.

    Mainfreight are amazing. I called them Monday morning 9.45am to track a parcel I was expecting. They indicated they were not intending to deliver until Tuesday. I told the person I was dealing with that I was working from home in expectation of the goods being delivered on Monday. The operator put me on hold and immediately arranged an urgent delivery for me. The goods arrived at 1.30pm Monday. That really is outstanding service and incredible agility. I was very grateful and impressed with the amazing service. Thank you.

    Spent a whole week dealing with Paige, getting an item repacked by the sender three times. After finally getting it packed to the required standard, I received an email from Jacob Eyre to say that they would not carry the item after all. Wasted a week of my time, 5 phone calls to Mainfrieght, 4 to the vendor, and 6 emails. Poor service, and had the nerve to say to me not to be rude when I said I'd write a google review. Sort your business out, train your staff properly (a smiley face isn't a way to end an email by the way), waste of my time and effort Jacob Eyre. How would you not get a bad review after that kind of service!??

    No communication skill at all. Call but did not leave a message, did not call again, complaint to original sender that I did not answer their call. Dropped of the parcel without ringing the door bell to check anyone's home. Just left the paperwork on the floor.

    They pick up when they want, sometimes not at all, despite services being booked in well in advance. Nothing will be communicated. They probably don’t know what communication is and why it’s a valuable thing to do. Their lack of service and communication has knock-on effects for people who are paying them money, but they do not care. Typical example of a sloppy, couldn’t care less, β€˜she’ll be right eh bro’ nz company and it’s utterly pathetic.

    For such a large organisation their lack of communication is shocking. Definitely something they need to work on. Pick up a phone or respond to an email and let your customers know what's going on. Had one of their drivers deliver a consignment when advised that nobody would be available to accept it. Even had their driver forge my signature on a proof of delivery and advise on another delivery that it wasn't required. Would love to know what would happen in that scenario if freight was missing or damaged. Would not recommend using them if you have an alternative.

    Had to drop off a pallet of goods and thought it was going to be complicated as It was a private drop off and because it needed to be lifted out of the back of my car with a forklift. But it couldn’t have been simpler, well done Mainfreight.
