Have had a couple of dealings with this company over the past few weeks. First delivery VERY slow but delivery guys were excellent. They were on time, brought the large item inside for my elderly nanna, unpacked it for her and took away the packaging. Very chatty and friendly. I am currently awaiting a delivery of parcels that were collected from Upper Hutt on 24 December and arrived at the Hornby distribution depot yesterday 30th December. With it being a busy time of year and delayed by public holidays delivery isnβt possible until Monday so I called customer service to enquire if I could collect my items today from them rather than wait until next week for delivery. Receptionist Tracy was immediately defensive stating βitβs called public holidaysβ and she was rude throughout our conversation. Not a pleasant person to talk to at all. I didnβt even get to ask whether I could collect my items because I was so taken aback by her attitude. Letβs hope delivery goes smoother. I will update my review then.

Bought an item on the condition it would be available for pickup by 16th December, got a rude response from Nicki at Mainfreight Hornby when I called to collect, saying it wouldnβt be unpacked before Christmas. Absolutely no information available via the tracking system either. Unacceptable

Not sure if they are on holiday or something but package hasn't arrived and their office isn't answering any calls, 2 days overdue so far for a same city delivery. Managed to get through to their office on the 3rd day and told it won't be delivered until one week after expected delivery. Wasnt allowed to pick it up, not sure the reason.

Urgently needed fridge freezer delivered. They rung twice without leaving a message Thursday. I rung the following day to find out what the go was, they cant deliver until 5 days away from original call. I have a baby with cerebral palsy and medicines to store and nothing could be done to salvage the food over the weekend as we have no neighbours and I have a spiral break in my leg. If they left a message I could have ring them back and salvage my goods. Not happy. Thanks alot mainfreight. You have added to a very rough month. This wasn't a luxury buy it was an emergency....but you could deliver for 200plus when you spoke to winz.... how odd.
