If there was a zero star I would give not happy pre booked driver got the wrong address for pick up had green arrow he used it like a stop sign looked both ways the n drove he was the most rude and unbelievable driver I have ever had p.s he even took a personal phone call while he was driving not hands-free
Worst taxi company i have had to deal with, I came from melbourne and ordered a cab, said 700 metres away, so I stood in the freezing cold and 90 mins later 6 phone calls , ridiculously now still waiting, if I was to visit chch., avoid this company. Unfortunately they have gone down hill used to be my go to
Have used this company twice now , both times epic failure. First time booked them to pick me up at airport and arrived an hour late and didn’t know how to pick up from airport. That was a few years ago. Second time pre booked taxi for pick up at 3.30am to airport, no show , had to call company , got told lies about how far away taxi was and how my booking fell off the system. Called an uber so we didn’t miss the flights. That was yesterday. Bitten once, bitten twice, never again. Keep well away from this company!!
If I could rate minus or zero stars I would! Pre booked a mobility Taxi for my father from Burwood Hospital on Xmas Day. 5 mins prior to collection driver phones me to advise he doesn't have a wheelchair taxi. I contacted their office who informed me that I hadn't ordered one(total BS)...the driver obviously knew and i definitely had this in my booking notes and confirmed in my follow call 1 week prior. They took no responsibility and said "nothing they could do". Never utilize this service if you have any important functions to attend, unreliable and the worst customer service I have ever come across. Infact should have a name change to "Last Direct"!
Booked a taxis to come pick us up at Merrivale Mall. Three quarters an hour they still hadnt arrived. Cancelled our booking ryng another firm and they were there in 10 minutes and ecen rang us to say they were on their way. Dont recommend
You need to teach your drivers some patience had one of your drivers tailgating me the other day while in peak hour traffic its clear first direct taxis don't prioritize driver safety at all given what i encountered so I can't recommend them.
Booked taxi for early morning trip to airport. Obtained online quote prior, actual cost ended up being a lot more expensive. Service was great and driver on time. Have followed up with company regarding overcharge - no response.
I booked a taxi in advance, and they were 50 minutes late. When I rang them, they told me that there were no taxis in the area and that only limousines and corporate cars can be expected to show up on time. In hindsight, it would have been faster to walk.
Scheduled a ride to Christchurch airport the night before. Driver (I hope I’m spelling it right - Tio Tio?) arrived early and with the biggest smile on his face. Friendliest taxi driver I’ve ever had. It made waking up at 0300 for a 0600 flight not too bad at all. Would recommend based on this experience.
