   There are two drivers in this company who always park outside a pregnant ladies apartment and/or the preschool down the road for extended periods of time. I'm not sure how they would feel if it some random old guy parked outside their house like this but it certainly doesn't make me feel comfortable. The manager is also unwilling to do anything about it either. Would not recommend using this company

   The last two trips with Gold Band they have tried to charge a card fee when using an eftpos card which is not a pay wave card so does not incur a fee to the business. The first time the driver removed it the 2nd time he wouldn't. We wouldn't use them again as we fell they are ripping customers off charging a fee that the business is not incurring.

   Booking Operators were ok, but some had a rude tone as if they are giving a free service rather than providind a service for the customer's money. Drivers need a lot if training on being professional. I had 9 rides approved from ACC. Only 2 drivers were professional. Others needed serious training. 1.Asked for my phone number, and gave me his card and blames me for not contacting him directly rather than booking through the operators the next day. 2.Requested me to wait till he arrive at my home for the second day, and then make the booking so that he can secure the ride. 3.Made 6 phone calles in one ride while driving in the state highway 1 at above 100kmph. 4.Goes in to the staff car park in the evening when the driver should be coming to the visitor park at the main entrance. Driver "thought" I would be at the same park he dropped me in the morning. Then blames me for being late. No appology from the driver side. 5. Detours to drop off driver's child at home during the ride. 6. Smelly cabs 3 times 7. Driver's card with name and cab number was not to be seen anywhare in the cab in 3 cabs. 8.Had the phone holder right in front of his face which blocks the view from the windscrean. 9.Doesn't maintain a safe distance. 10.The driver assigned by the company left without informing me or the company. Then they assigned a second driver. All in all the wait time for me was 24 minutes. I will not recommend Gold Band taxi for any one, unless they train their drivers to be professional.

   I tend to use this device in company with an older group so we are very dependent on taxis. Customer service is excellent and we have always had drivers who go out of their way to make sure we are accommodated. Courteous, punctual and reliable.

   Pre-booked a taxi on the night before I needed to go to the airport. The taxi wasn’t there on time. When I rang up after 7 mins of waiting I was told the driver was still on the way from the other side of town and will be another 9 minutes. This is unacceptable for bookings made in advance. I have cancelled and got an uber that was there within 5 minutes. The stress is not worth it, I will not use this company again.

   Terrible drivers!!! Just witnessed one of you taxi's; tail gating (within 1m of car in front) in heavy southern traffic, changing lanes without indicating and cutting people off (3 times) and swerving all over the lane beyond lines. Is the driver drunk or on drugs!!? (8am) Rego NND57*
