DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr BISHT the allergy specialist. She was very very rude and throughout the whole appt for my daughter she gas lit everything I said and said my daughter didnβt have allergies she had eczema. She would rudely say my babies symptoms was highly unlikely and my story wasnβt adding up. I ended up leaving with no answers, no help, no guidance and was told to come back in 3 months. I left feeling defeated and like I just wasted my time and my money, was $500 for a script of antihistamines and steroids and to be told my daughter didnβt have allergies. I placed a complaint and thankfully managed to get half of my money back for this waste of time and money appt. Literally felt like I was scammed because I paid for a service and left in the same position as I walked in. I was able to see a different clinic today (Waikato allergy clinic, highly recommend) who did allergy testing and my daughter has two confirmed IGE allergies, and they confirmed my daughters symptoms are common and likely, so a completely different experience compared to the one with Dr Bisht. So donβt waste your time on midland paediatric clinic for any allergies or eczema.

I had a terrible experience. Iβve been waiting for my sonβs blood test results for a month and a half. Iβve followed up with three phone calls and two emails, but they keep saying they need to forward the inquiry to the doctor before responding. However, they never get back to me. Itβs incredibly frustrating.

I had a really bad experience yesterday with the Pediatric allergy specialist at this center. She saw the GP's referral, did some small question and make her conclusion on my daughter's situation without really understanding the long process that it has been for us or the complete story. She wasn't really listening to what I was saying and gave us zero value or useful advice. A doctor that think is best to treat a kid with corticosteroids creams for more than a year is better than trying to understand what it's causing the problem. Just a waste of money and time.
