No management at all, every one is a boss, very poor behaviour and attitude towards students. Discrimination is in its highest level towards students from a different culture and background, students are not treated the same. Only supporting people from ONE Culture and Colour. Awful tutors
Really bad management and unreliable staff. Teachers are very hit and miss I have some awesome teachers and some bad ones. The ara app is useless and won't work or tell you the right classes most of the time. Exam times are not explained properly and can be located in about 3 different locations depending on the class which makes it very easy to miss if you are sick and not present to be told about them. The first 3 weeks are great but as soon as you get past the last withdrawal date the quality drops significantly and they stop caring about you. Wouldn't ever recommend going. Also about 70% of the chairs are broken and a decent amount of computers have filthy peripherals or they are completely non functional. This has been my experience. When I tried to reach out to staff they are almost always unavailable and I gave up after one staff member got angry at me for trying to findout my timetable for classes(because they couldn't figure out how to find my classes). Went to Ara for use of the quiet space for studying in the library. Great facility and well looked after. Librarian assistance is friendly and great people.
Ara osteopath clinic is very good, professional, and thorough. Even if you're very complex, they can help you.
Tutors treat you like you’re a human. Staff were always lovely. Would recommend to anyone pursuing tertiary education
Got a great free haircut from a trainee barber overseen by two excellent friendly tutors
I just have to say that the student support for enrollment is absolutely outstanding. I visited today to get help with an application and left feeling absolutely overwhelmed with support, what an incredible feeling. I feel so confident that I have chosen the right place to study. Huge credit to your enrollment and career support team ☺️
I am studying the Bachelor of Design here at Ara. This school is fantastic, you are learning industry terminology and skills, and each day presents something that challenges your thinking. The services that Ara also offers to students are also fantastic. Ara supports all students to succeed.
