I didn’t have a great experience here. I went to ask a question about my battery, I felt as though my question was being ignored and they changed my battery anyway. He laughed at the other man when I asked my question and I felt belittled. Won’t be coming back here next time I have issues.
Top service- went to have my battery checked as seemed little slow starting. They checked and it needed charging so put in a spare battery, so I could continue on my way, and i collected next day - all done - no charge. Very happy to recommend.
Exceptional service from Baybat Batteries Tauranga! My van fridge was playing up, and I suspected a battery issue. After checking online, the cheapest battery I found was $420 plus fitting. Still unsure if the battery was the problem, I called Baybat, and they told me to drop in anytime for a test. I asked for a price, and he said $425, fitted. He looked like he expected me to go away and think about it, but I was like, "Please, yes!" The only hiccup was disconnecting my solar panels. I couldn’t find the switch, so we covered them with blankets. This was to stop them from putting out power while the battery got changed. Great price, great service, and no hassle. Highly recommend these guys! And check out how clean and tidy their workshop is!

Dead caravan battery at NZMCA Welcome Bay. Rang Bay Bat first thing Tuesday morning and after receiving instructions for best access, drove away 30 mins later with new installed AGM battery. Many thanks for such prompt, friendly and speedy service
I had come down around closing time a few days ago and got approached by a lovely man who took a minute or so to check my alternator and battery. He then discussed prices with me regarding my faulty battery. After much thought I went with the new battery and he was happy to install this right on closing time. Will definitely recommend!! Thank you guys so much.
Keep coming back here. Not sure if it’s the pricing, the helpful knowledge, the range (from motorbike, to car, to truck), the location, or whether you just put all that together and you’ve got a reliable competitively priced easy to do business shop. Whatever it is, we keep coming Must be at least 10 different batteries- from jetski’s to motorbikes, 4wd to truck, I’m picking we’ll get the gold cufflinks next visit

The friendly team at BayBat have sorted my cars, vans, etc for well over a decade now. They'll check that your battery's good or not Or if the problem lies with your charging system. They'll fit a new battery and dispose of the new one. (Thank God!) And all for a competitive price to the usual auto shops! Go support some kiwi lads =)
