   I shop weekly at New World B4ookfield, shopping there is great and convenient for me, until Monday the 22nd of Dec. I had a $5 voucher from the week before where I had spent $330 so I presented it on Monday for my discount, the supervisor there said I couldn’t use it as it had a tear at the bottom left hand corner. That tear was done by the operator the week before. I phoned New World but no one was available to take my complaint my particulars were taken for someone to call me back but no none has called. This is pretty bad seeing it’s only $5 I am a regular customer and it’s not my fault it was torn. When you are a pensioner $5 is a little help. Come on New World look after your valued customers.

   We ordered salads from the Deli for our end of year do in 1kg trays. Such a great suggestion from the lady serving me. They were so delicious, fresh, ready when I went to collect and a great amount for the 9 of us. We even had left overs. Thanks Deli ladies!

   The checkout operator and the customer before us were gossiping, so I thought okay, we’ll just wait-they probably won’t talk for long, since we’d already put our groceries on the conveyor belt. But they just keep gossiping for ages! The tall older woman checkout operator didn’t even seem to care- her expression basically said, Get lost. By the time we finally got to the car park, our frozen stuff was almost defrosted.

   Atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the store is good, however prices here are generally higher than other nearby supermarkets such as Woolworths. So, for me at least, I see it as more of a periodic drop in place rather than my usual supermarket, unfortunately they removed the well-priced cafe and replaced it with an overpriced Starbucks, so I'll be coming here even less now.

   I recently visited our local supermarket and was pleasantly surprised by the level of cleanliness and organization. While it might be a tad pricier than other options, the quality of products and overall shopping experience more than justifies the cost. The shelves were well-stocked, and the fresh produce section looked impeccable. It's evident that they prioritize maintaining a clean and inviting environment, making my shopping trip a truly enjoyable one.

   Today, so many specials, cheap hoki fish $18 kg !. Chicken nibbles $6 enough for 4 people easy. Specials in veges and fruit, love the two bins of 'dated' items - half a cabbage or an eggplant at $1.50 goes a long way. And some bargain 'dated' dairy products well priced. You have to be smart when you shop. I love the choices here, great store, no complaints.

   Thank-you team. My 89 year old mother shops with you. She speaks so highly of the help and respect she gets from you all. This week I was visiting and did the shop. The checkout women were exceptional - friendly and communicative. Then when I was loading parcels into the car the trolley attendant helped put packages in the boot. These small gestures are major and make such a difference. Well done and thank-you
