Disappointing interactions. Long waits, no communication and medication for cold store left out in ambient temperature

I am not usually one to post reviews let alone give 1 star review but from today's experience 1 star is generous. With never having any issues before with picking up repeat prescriptions for my partner, today was a different story. From being served and saying what I needed at least 3 times because the guy who served me was not understanding me to then having to wait over 15 minutes within that timeframe my partners named was called so I walked up and after the pharmacist gave the lady in front of me her prescription he then walked away ignored me standing there and carried on. I then waited a little while longer until I went up to ask for the prescription to then find out not all of the medication was given. We got the remaining of the medication after all that. What should have taken 15-20 minutes took over 30 minutes or a bit longer. The customer service I received was very poor. I understand mistakes are made but my experience today was terrible. Never mind I have never had such a bad experience before from this Chemist Warehouse branch. Customer service needs to be better!

Dreadful experience. I went to collect medication for my son who has bought the product many times before elsewhere with no issue on doctors advice. The pharmacy assistant refused to serve me and asked me to ring my son. He spoke to my son for over 10 mins on my mobile minutes!! asking questions everyone in the growing queue could hear as I stood there getting more and more uncomfortable. Finally refusing. The product? Mouthwash. Use a privately owned pharmacy no corporates wanting you to get a prescription so they get more money.

One of the bigger Chemist we been to, and our last stop before headed back home - with a free parking lot in a massive carpark for 120 minutes.

Arrived here five minutes before closing and a super helpful man did everything possible to ensure I could shop and get my stuff quickly. I am not familiar with the layouts of such stores in New Zealand and the packaging is different so it took me a bit and he helped point me the way to what I needed. Super easy. Batteries, sunglasses and shaving cream. Yay, a quick in and out. Exactly what I needed. Prices were good. Not great but good.

Terrible staff, definitely don't recommend this place to anybody. I stayed for 3 hours in the medical centre with my daughter and when I rushed to Chemist to get her medications I was refused to received because it was 10 min to 9 pm. That's outrageous if the store closes at 9pm it should service until 9 pm and not 8:50, 8:55 pm. And the staff was really sarcastic and rude even though I've had my daughter of 4 months old with me.

Not a good service zone. Asked one of the staff to find an expiry date on the kids tooth paste box. She couldn't. I wanted to open the box and check in on the tube because I already paid for it. The staff grabbed my hand and said that they do not allow to open it. It is rude to touch customers.

This store has multiple useless pharmacists on a powertrip who are very condescending and patronizing. In particular a male thinking he knows best and requesting a prescription for a Dr advised non prescription female medication item, along with 30 minute + wait time for any prescription on multiple visits. (This comment is not applicable to the guy with a moe who is the only 5 star pharmacist at this location. He knows how to treat someone seeking medical advice / products and gives great customer service). The rest of the pharmacists and store staff are constantly aimlessly running around and not able to help in any way - locate their shop floor shelved products (it took over 30 minutes of waiting for a member who simply disappeared when asked where an item was in the store leading me to eventually ask someone else), stock their shelves (would rather leave baskets or boxes of stock on the floor isle ready for you to trip over) and staff who prefer to run to their colleagues and gossip about their customer discussions / interactions or comment based on how their customer looked rather than do the job they are there to do. Immature and toxic high school vibes from a seemingly unknowledgable bunch. Qualifications out of cereal boxes with no prior working experience is clear. If you want to feel comfortable in health discussions / confident in seeking advice of new medications, receive atleast a basic level of customer service, wait 5-15 minutes for a prescription, or a few minutes for a product to be located on the shop floor... then seek another store location as this one has gone down hill very fast. I will be changing from this pharmacy following today's interactions and disgraceful service, which was the final straw.

Very large outlet with ample parking right outside. Staff are generally friendly but thereβs usually not enough staff at the cashier counter. If you know what youβre looking for things here can be much cheaper than the chemist in the city center. Plus the selection is just unbeatable.
