   Will never shop there again. Had been in day before. So picking items was easy. Getting the guy to go up on ladder to retrieve different sizes wasnt a problem. But second time , he wasnt happy. Tip. Dont hang things up so high we cant reach. Female at checkout was so rude, even just asking for a bag, as I had 6 items. She was obviously not having a good day. Bag cost $5. With not even a smile. Never again. Jay jays Mt Maunganui. Don't go there

   Just went there this morning and to the girl that help me looking for Hello Kitty items for my little one, I just wanted to say a massive thank you. Was one of the best customer service experience I had in a while, such a lovely person , full of smiles and patience and super happy to help. I thought, people is so quick to give shitty reviews because their life must be so boring hahaha so for once let the good reviews flaw. That girl was absolutely awesome!!!!!!

   Horrible service! Racial profiling. On Thursday 12/01/23 4 young kids aged 10-15 all Māori (involved in youth council, good kids) were enjoying their day trying on items and had left the store to go to the food court to get something to eat and they were approached by a security guard telling them to go back to the Jay jays store because the workers assumed they had stolen something and wanted to check their shopping bags. How embarrassing! Why not ask them in the shop before they left the premises!? They were then escorted back to the shop with a vast amount of people staring at them through the mall and they were so embarrassed. The kids willingly gave their bags to be checked and when the workers found nothing they didn’t offer an apology at all! I am so appalled with this behaviour it is unacceptable! Disgusting behaviour from the Jay Jays staff which shows me you do not teach them any values! Thankfully the security guard had apologised to them. My question is why not stop and ask them before they left the store!? Why embarrass them and make them out to be criminals when they didn’t steal anything!? Please teach your workers to be better human beings to avoid this in the future and if they have any doubts, have the decency to go up and ask. The kids are now traumatised and do not want to shop in Jay Jays let alone Bayfair anymore!

   Just brought pants for a Christmas present, and the workers were too busy talking to much to each other on there own buz they forgot to take the security tag off the pants!!

   Hi I I’ve been trying to order 2 pairs of jeans in New Zealand online, but it’s an Australian website which sux, so if my sizing is incorrect then it needs to go back to Australia for returns, Can we have a New Zealand website for JayJays please it would be so much easier and it is the way of the times now!

   I would’ve liked to have come to Jay Jays when they were open before work because according to Google Jay Jays Bayfair is open 8am to 6pm. I arrived at the front of the store at 8:50 and the whole thing is shut no lights on or anything! Change your times to when you’re actually open or get staff for when you’re supposed to be open

   Dudes - get your Toucan on and get some new threads here. Trendy styles for you and your lady. Had to get some clothes for fussy teenage girls, and this shop made it pretty easy. You get a 21 day refund/ swap exchange also if you change your mind. The odds are in your favour here picking a winning item. Friendly staff to help also
