Booked an unpowered site The owner is nice and friendly, and the facilities are easy to use. Shower and toilets were clean. Maybe a bit noisy in the evening but it was quiet at night. I'd recommend ✌️

The door would not lock, we asked politely for a refund so we could find a new place where we could safely leave our belongings and the owner demanded that we stay and stated that he would not give us our money back. He then proceeded to accuse us of braking the lock despite the fact that we had been there for no more than 5 minutes. Will never be staying here and would never recommend anyone to stay at this park

Nice and clean great price had cabin 2. The only thing that was a pain was the lourd chatting and drinking next door in till 2am so found it hard to sleep should have a 11pm cutoff. Apart from that it was great and we'll worth the money.

Due to sudden change to our schedule we make a last minute booking. However despite arriving slightly late around 9pm, the reception was close and the manager ask us to simply park at unoccupied power site. We end up getting 1 spot. Very basic but is cheap so no complaints. Can focus more on the cleanliness of the toilet and shower area. I feel the place is occupied by too many permanent residents or becoming a dumping site for old caravans. At midnights when i uses the toilet, there is car that just drive in and the driver uses the toilet and left, which i am curious about the safety as there is no barricades or password to access to site. The next day morning, manage to talk to the manager and make payment before leaving. I thought i have paid during online booking but in reality those payments doesnt go thru.

Simple campsite with all you need. Love how it's tucked away from the road. Had a A frame cabin. It was perfect what I needed. Quite peaceful area. Bathroom, and kitchen are clean and tidy.

The rules about towels are unbelievable the owner would only give two of us 5 towels for 3 days as the rules are you must hang them out to dry. Will never stay there again and want to warn you all about this lack of customer service and strange manager.

Not really sure I can comment because I didn't stay here... however , I just have a suggestion to make really. I personally think there should be tighter regulations on who is allowed into this park. Eg either people who aren't family or close friends of the people stating here shouldn't be allowed in. Or, closer vetting on who actually visits. I had a somewhat awful experience meeting a guy on the bus, who encouraged me to come visit him at this place. Permitted, I should of realized it was a bad idea, but I have a condition which makes it hard to realize these things and also read people. I noticed a few weird things, one the person who stayed here wasn't just confusing me with his words he was confusing another person who stayed here. As I remember this person was staying near him and said similar things to me in that, they were obviously confused as to why he would evade responsibility for what he had said... previously, I wrote an email about this, though there's little to be done and no accountability on anyone's part. When asked one of the receptionists about whether my email had been recieved all I got back was an excuse. " We recieve many emails a day. Which one was it?!" To which I didn't want to reiterate it considering it went into greater details on psychological effects this person had caused me. I just personally think, at some point, there is only excuses made here, and using other people empathy and good nature to evade any personal accountability, specially considering, I was non accusatory and very polite in my asking about whether the email had been recieved. Seems. A little disorganized, but, i would assume it's to avoid confrontations. I don't actually know. So, to sum up, not relevant to staying however offering a different perspective from someone who happens to have a different brain and see the world a little different. Thanks Jess

What a fine facility , Jeff's a top man, and the A frame I stayed in was brand new. The residents are very chatty and location is perfect. Champagne on beer money.

Interesting place on outskirts of Rangiora. Bit dated but unit was clean, tidy and well priced for a stopover. Short walk if you're adventurous thru the racecourse and horse paddocks to the Five Stags pub for good food and good selection of beers.
