I park in Deans ave carpark and catch the shuttle to the hospital it's care free and the shuttle driver will drop you off outside the part of the hospital you need to visit! You do pay for parking it's around $5 per hour and there's a shuttle about every 10 or 15 minutes to the hospital the shuttle also takes you back to your car it's free no charge for the shuttle

Staff here are exceptional! Help is just a smile away! The coffee shop is exceptional. A must visit before or after seeing a medical professional!

Nurses and Doctors were friendly, kind, and very informative. Didn't have to wait for long for my appointment.

My fibremalagia symptoms are worsening and the neurologist told me to get back as soon as my symptoms come back- unfortunately the wait list is now 3 months which is appalling and now told me to seek my GP... my GP only referred me to go to neurologist at the out-patient building. This is very poor as the health system is failing. Unsure what to do now...

Wow!! You have to buy water at a public hospital!! I went there for my appointment asked for some water the staff advised me to buy water . They donβt have any drinking water facilities. Strange!!

My doctor sent through a referral for a repeat ultrasound to check on a gallbladder polyp (this is health pathways protocol) the hospital sent a letter confirming my appointment, I had to take the afternoon off work to go to this appointment just for the doctor to tell me they weren't going to do an ultrasound? huge waste of time overall, made no sense to come in only to be told I wasn't having an ultrasound done, they could've told me that over a phone call or even email. The same doctor also made a snide comment about me smoking which had absolutely nothing to do with the gallbladder polyp, she wasn't exactly in the best shape herself to say the least so maybe she shouldn't be giving advice about unhealthy habits.

Modern hospital building, with excellent facilities. There is an onsite cafe with delicious coffee, and each floor has a television in multiple waiting areas to curb the boredom of waiting. Beautiful views out the windows of Hagley Park and the trees of Christchurch City, as well as the old Gothic structure of the Art Centre. Coffee available on level 2 for patients to make as you come out of the elevator straight ahead. Had phlebotomy services on the ground floor.
