    Avoid this place at all costs Terrible screen replacement, kept freezing out and buring battery after replacement. Looked very cheap and when I complained they wanted days to assess the issue of their own making saying theyare out of screens. Then they don't give full refunds as they want to take off service fees of $69 as it's "their policy". Go to any other competitor as they will all be better than this place. I ended up going to Smashed It on Ponsonby road and the work was great.

    Trading on past glory? 7 years ago they did a great job fixing my old Mac Pro, and 5 years ago they did a good job changing the screen on my iMac (even though they wanted to charge extra to blast the dust out). However this last year, I've had batteries replaced in an iPad and iPhone. Both of them still die just as quickly as before the "repair".

    I am very happy with this place. They were quite nice and accommodating! Changed my daughter's badly cracked iPhone screen in an hour or so. We had an iPad for repairs as well- change of the charge port but then we changed our mind and didn't have to pay for it even though it was already done! The technician and the manager were quite understanding and accommodating, only charged us for diagnostics - much appreciated! Highly recommend!

    these guys had my macbook laptop for almost 8 months! everytime i called they just told me they were waiting on parts. Eventually I got in touch and told them enough is enough as I had been waiting for so long. They then told me my laptop was unrepairable. I got the laptop back and it is in worse shape then when i handed it to them, it doesnt even turn on now. So after 8 months, im 50 bucks down on diagnostics charge and a completely ruined laptop. DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS, I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGH.

    Warning likely fake 5 star reviews! Don't trust the overall rating. I had a horrible experience with The Core. I did a trade in deal with them and they didn't pay me immediately. I sent multiple emails all ignored, I then had to call multiple times to get my money sent. I believe this was intentional as other people have had the same experience. The service before this was over priced, with horrible customer care, and long delays. Under no circumstance take your Apple device here. They also are not a certified apple repair shop and charge more than the certified competition.

    The Core fixed my logic board and battery within a week and did an amazing job. They contacted me whenever anything needed my permisssion and were very professional. They even cleaned my computer for free as an additional extra which was great! The Analysis was done very fast too and I will definetly be coming back here (if I need to) and suggesting this place to others :) Thanks The Core!
