   The lads that were working on Saturday morning were very welcoming and even managed to fit me in as a walk in, in addition to my 2 sons bookings,The kids cuts were good but took rather a long time for what they had, around 40+ minutes for each, (1 wants a mullet so just got the sides done and a growth trim on top and the other wanted a high tapered fade and to keep length on top.) I had a short back and sides and to take half the length off the top. What I got was close but uneven all over, one side cut higher than the other and long bits all round. Although friendly the 4 guys that were working there, on Saturday morning 3 of them seemed more interested in banter with each other and chatting than cutting hair, which reflects the time it took to get the haircuts. Overall I was rather disappointed, considering all the good comments I've read and heard about the place.

   I’ve been seeing Craig for my haircuts for a few years now. He’s always maintained his high standards for quality cuts and customer service, that high standard has only risen since opening his own shop. The new barbershop is always clean and a very friendly atmosphere for anyone to enjoy the experience of getting their haircut!

   We love 1855 - in fact my partner, son and myself now all go here. My partner's haircut with Gina is the best he has ever had, Craig cut my son's hair and was so kind and friendly and he loves his haircut, and Ash did my hair and is just amazing. We love having such a wonderful business local, and we highly recommend for all ages. Awesome to see someone starting a business and giving great service to the community - it's just the best!
