Absolute best dentist I've ever had. Very gentle, thorough and gives great advice. Used to avoid dentists but no longer!!
Have been going to Peter for 10 years now and have always found him to be professional, gentle and very reasonably priced. He just gets into it, no mucking around and minimal chitchat. He is the type of dentist to look at cheaper options where available rather than go root canal/crown right off the bat. Best dentist yet!!
Rung to ask pricing of a general first consult before for a quote (something reception lady should know as it’s not any procedure carried out on tooth just a check up ) she was very rude and no help at all asked to speak to someone who did know and she was no help at all because of this I refuse to go there now first impression is everything.

My sister who has severe social anxiety and depression had to cancel an appointment as she finds it very difficult at times to go out in public. She was told she cant make appointments with them again as 4 years previous she had also cancelled an appointment. Zero understanding of mental health. Luckily we found her a dentist in rangiora who was very understanding and accommodating.
I requested a quote for a crown when I rang to make an appointment. When I arrived I had to wait 40 minutes. He then told me that he doesn’t do crowns ?? He also didn’t like it that I had previously work done by an other dentist.
Made an appointment, took a day off work to attend. Because I had had previous X-rays with an after hours dentist they said they would not touch another dentist patient even though the after hours dentist was not our dentist. He would not help us. My son is in a lot of pain and is now too late to get another appointment with another dentist !!! Definitely doesn’t care about people!!! Would not recommend to anyone
