Never leave reviews either, but looking below I thought this place was going to be decent. $19 I paid for a fried donburi. And they give me rice and a bit of cabbage with a slim piece of burnt chicken slapped with some peri peri sauce. Do not recommend.
Ignore the old sushi donburi sign, though the chicken has a great Asian taste. Got the lunch pack with nibbles, drum and was very tasty, with the Jap mayo sauce. Chips were tops.
I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves a five star review. A perfectly clean environment and is a really nice spot to dine in. The service was amazing, kind and friendly. Because it was the end of the day it was understandable that they had sold out of some items but we were kindly given free pieces of chicken with our order. Best chicken I've ever had with the perfect amount of spice and sooo crispy also served HOT AND FRESH! (Not just saying this because it was free but because it was genuinely tasty and high quality). We ordered their dumplings which was indulged with flavour and the dough of the dumpling had the perfect texture. I cannot wait to come back and order there again. You guys are doing awesome and my mother and I will be for sure ordering from you guys again and again.
Cute little sushi shop with a authentic taste of Japan. If your looking for good sushi with a twist of different flavors from the usual nz sushi fare, this is definitely worth the stop.
Next to no sushi selection. Very expensive and not worth the price. Wasabi has no heat either
Service was faultless, place is clean and tidy. The sushi I had wasn't delicious but it was fresh.
Clean and pleasant outlet. Toilet is tastefully decorated ..and clean too. Owners are polite. Food is delicious and reasonably priced with free hot green tea..pleasant surprisr. Enjoyed our meal on a cold drive to auckland
