   Had a great dining experience at La Thai Restaurant. The food was full of authentic Thai flavours, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. We especially enjoyed the balance of spice and aroma in the dishes. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys quality Thai food - we’ll be back again!

   I read the reviews before we went out to dinner, and they weren't wrong. Do not be distracted by the look of the restaurant inside or the ice cream ( which by the way is so good). But this Thai has amazing authentic Thai dishes that taste so good. Fantastic value.

   We found this place on our short trip here and to our surprise we were so pleased we stopped by here. The hostess was wonderful and the food reminded us of authentic Thailand. The prices were economical as well and we ended up doing a takeaway as well for our meal later on. Definitely must visit here

   Dropped in for lunch and had an excellent meal. We ordered Tom Kha Soup (excellent seafood) and Pad Thai (generous helping). Very reasonable prices and the lunchtime special included an Ice cream or Coffee. They were able to provide a high chair for our toddler. Lovely attentive service. We will come again!

   We stopped at La Thai for a bite to eat for my boyfriends birthday and the food was great! The portions were flavorful and large and the staff was very friendly. We even got a happy birthday serenade with dessert. We'll definitely be stopping back in the next time we are in Akaroa. Thank you! ☺️

   We had such a beautiful evening. The lovely lady who owns the restaurant is so sweet and friendly. We had the squid - highly recommend! Spring rolls, cashew stir fry and massaman curry and a lovely bottle of sav. Highly recommend… we will definitely be back next time we come to Akaroa… thank you!

   Good food and good service from the staff, sawaadeekhap but during my visit some of the food is not available, like matcha latte, store are not crowded, near the sea view, cold weather, good sounds inside, menu are not visible to table, but outside there is.. the price is good also not too expensive, thanks for the good food and service..
