   I recently visited Waterware while working on a small bathroom renovation for one of our clients, and I felt compelled to share my incredible experience. Our client chose Waterware products, which we knew would be reliable, but, as is often the case with on-site work, we encountered unexpected challenges. We specifically needed a brushed stainless colour flange, but everywhere we looked only had PVC options. Honestly, I was starting to feel defeated as I searched for a solution, but then I walked into Waterware. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and kindness! Although I can't remember the first person's name who assisted me, they quickly directed me to another team member. That's when Lisa came over and listened to my concerns. She provided the best solutions and really went above and beyond to help me out. I am so grateful for the assistance I received. Now, no matter what problems arise on-site, I feel confident knowing I can rely on Waterware for support. Thank you, Waterware team—you truly are the best!

   I purchased a Ritter r290, 15kw, high temperature heat pump to replace a diesel heat source for our central heating (radiators). I looked at Mitsubishi, Daiken and Warmnz, as well as the Ritter option. Ritter was less expensive than the first two and the same as the last option. I went with Ritter because Waterware is a large company and my experience with Lea (Waterware rep) and Karem the plumber/install manager was fantastic. I think mine was one of the first new generation model they had installed and there were a few things that needed to be worked through but the final outcome was perfect. Strongly recommend the product and the team.

   I ordered a tap cartridge from Waterware and got my plumber to install, however it was the wrong size. From that point Waterware were fantastic at resolving the issue. Tara was awesome, with great and prompt communication arranging the replaced part to be installed trouble free at no further cost to myself. All very easy. Wonderful customer service, great job Tara!

   Bought an expensive kitchen tap from this co and have had nothing but trouble with it ever since. Within 6 months of installing the tap, it began to leak quite badly. We contacted customer service in Auckland and spoke to a rather rude lady who suggested the tap had been installed incorrectly or that the mains pressure was too high and that they would have to investigate further. After a week or so, and after a visit from their rep, they concluded the problem was due to a faulty ceramic cartridge and they would replace it. Waited for another 2 weeks or so to have the replacement cartridge to be fitted only to find they had ordered the wrong size. Waited another 2 weeks or so to have the correct cartridge fitted but 4 months on the leak has returned. Any reputable co would have offered a replacement unit or money back at the outset, but not this one. Instead we had to endure a rude customer service lady who tried her best to lay the blame on other factors but grudgingly accepted liability in the end. We’ve now decided to replace the tap with another brand and vow never to deal with this 3rd rate co again. Their products are substandard and their customer service is appalling!!

   Sadly, the Waterware bathroom tap I purchased 2 years ago has seized up for the FOURTH time. Waterware reluctantly replaced the cartridge in it the first two times. Last time it happened, I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle I’d had to go through the first two times so I got a local plumber to get a new cartridge and paid a fortune to get it fixed. This time I’m completely over it and will be replacing my tapware with a more reliable brand. This pisses me off but seems like the only sensible long term solution to a frustrating, ongoing problem.
