I first started using Botany Auto Shoppe (formerly Neil Park Motors) for servicing and repairs to our vehicles more than 10 years ago (maybe 15 ?) and I wouldn't go anywhere else in East Tamaki. My top two requirements for a mechanic are that [1] they are trustworthy, and [2] they are competent. Botany Auto Shoppe are both of these things. They have always treated me fairly. Owner Phil and Fraser (who runs the front of house) are great to work with too. A+
After receiving an overpriced quote from another company for the supposedly necessary timing belt replacement on my motorhome, I called this company and received friendly advice over the phone. They offered to take a free look at my engine and pointed out that I didn't need a timing belt because I have a timing chain! I found their approach extremely professional. Thank you Phil. Unfortunately, I didn't end up using their services, but I would definitely use them if needed.
Incredible service!! I have been going to Auto Super Shopee Botany for a couple of years now, and they’re service is consistent every single time. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and always make the whole process seamless. Their communication is excellent, and they’re always efficient and reliable — constantly going above and beyond expectations. Callum, in particular, has shown me nothing but exceptional service time and time again. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely cares about his customers — something you don’t often find in workshops. Outstanding customer service replacing brake pads a few weeks ago then again this week replacing timing belt and fixing some dodgy work from a previous mechanic. Stoked I’ve found a great reliable mechanic. Very thankful for their help with my car issues!
All new brakes, rotors & pads, cambelt replacement, diagnose engine fault codes & repair. Awesome friendly very competent staff, especially Fraser. Very fair pricing for work completed & on time. Quality workmanship. Nothing was a problem that couldnt be solved. I was highly impressed with the whole experience & highly recommend them for any car repair or servicing.
