   Large park has a greyhound track,velodrome cycling track.basketball stadium. Parking onsite lots of trees to shade from the hot sun was the venue for the commonwealth games in the past now hosting the Chinese Lantern Festival. Plenty of room to run free.2mins from Manukau city centre mall and right next to motorway.

   The Auckland Chinese Lantern Festival is a fantastic annual event, and this year's was no exception. The displays of lanterns were truly amazing, beautifully representing Chinese culture. Beyond the lanterns, there was so much to see and do! We enjoyed the movie areas, and the variety of food, toy, and clothing stalls was impressive. It was also interesting to see the Chinese medicine consultations and the horoscope stand. My kids were absolutely mesmerized by everything, and the breathtaking fireworks at the end were the perfect finale to a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

   Large location for you to enjoy the outdoors in urban Manukau. Located just off the motorway, it is easy to get to. You'll find playground for the kids, velodrome, hound racing and the tennis centre. It is also home to the world famous Polyfest event!
