Wow, the service here comes with a smile. The team has assisted us with both electric and petrol car for WOF and Service. Great and efficient.
WoF cost at Supercheap Type and Auto is low, but has ended up costing me more. They failed my WoF on a trivial issue that should be passible. Then they priced the repairs to be $1500. I took it to another garage, they said it has "a little bit of play", it's not bad, and was about to pass it, but when they tried to enter in into the computer, they saw that it was failed previously by Supercheap, so they said they couldn't pass it if someone else failed it before. It ended up cost me $620 unnecessarily. Not recommended, it's false economy, go somewhere else.
11/10/2025, I had a wonderful experience with this service. They genuinely care about their customers and offer thoughtful advice, making you feel valued and supported. The pricing is very fair, which is a refreshing change. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a compassionate and understanding service.

Do not go to this place unless you know about cars Left my ute here for a bolt replacement and an oil leak fix, when I came to pick it up I was charged for both jobs, then noticed only 1 was done, I went back in to the office for my refund, they said only the boss can do refunds, who was already there at the shop took 30 minutes to come out and give me my refund, if I didn't check myself, they would of charged me for repairs they the didn't even do, they put the bolt in which would of taken 5 minutes, tried to say it took them 4 hours, I showed them what bolt was missing, they didn't even attempt to replace the rocker cover gasket yet still charged me for it

Got cheap 2nd hand tyre, fitted, best deal in Auckland. I spent 2 days on phone, called every shop. These guys are the best deal
Competent staff, who are friendly enough. Prices are a bit cheap but not unreasonable. Staff seem honest and don't seem to take advantage of you. Can be very lazy with following up though, took me weeks to get a response on a quote and I ended up going somewhere else after asking for an update multiple times.
Very professional and friendly staff, Noah and Ali got my clutch replaced and cv boots fixed within a week at a reasonable price. They keep you updated with the job and timing is great. Personal experience 10/10 as I’ve been using this place for the past 3 years
